 Very nice, quiet site.
Quirky bathrooms with a good, free, hot shower.
Friendly owner.
Handy for Carsington water. Cromford mills also well worth a visit if you're at all interested in history.
Wirksworth has some nice cafes and pubs, though it's a steep climb back to the site.
We paid £25 / night inc EHU.
Would definitely go again.

Just a one night stop for us but very pleasant on this sheltered, well thought out CL; booked online and friendly owners popped in to see if all ok. May need chocks, new hardstandings with grass surround so space for chairs etc, larger grass strip opposite.
Good access to tap for Moho water refilling, grey waste into the hedge if you have a wastemaster etc. , pot washing area with hot water. EHU on the pitch. Purpose built shower and toilet 'sheds' kept very clean.
Lovely views from the owner's fields which you are allowed to walk on - they have sheep so dogs on leads.
Nice off road walk into Wirksworth (steep in places) and quick drive to Carsington Water which has plenty of parking for Mohos; plenty of longer walks and other cycle rides to be had. There's a bookable bus service which also takes bikes and wheelchairs, info point has details.
Good value for the area at £25.
