A beautiful location with magnificent views of the Malvern Hills.
Google Earth shows the site very well (WR13 6LS). Access is very easy; after passing through Welland village in a SW direction, take the 'Welland Stone' signposted left turn off the B4208 and in ~150m, turn right at the top of the hill ('Hurst Farm').
We have been visiting Hurst Farm for the last six years and it is a firm favourite - Mr & Mrs Bland being friendly and charming hosts.
The site is adults only; dogs are permitted albeit with the requirement that they be under control / exercised off-site whenever possible (and any 'accidents' cleared up a. S. A. P. !).
Castlemorton Common is immediately adjacent and provides a great exercise facility for dog-owners. However, being common land, cattle/sheep/horses with riders may also be present - so clearly, dogs will need to be kept on leads / under close control at these times.
There is a well-stocked village store in nearby Welland; it includes a Post Office plus Amazon collection point.
There are several excellent local pubs nearby:
 'The Plume of Feathers' (further along B4208 / 20 mins walk across the Common);
 'Robin Hood' (further along B4208: ~5 mins drive from site);
 'Farmers' Arms' (further along B4208 => Birtsmorton: ~10 mins drive);
 'The Three Kings' (Church End, Hanley castle), ~20 mins drive (NB: 'T3K' does not serve meals)
Malvern, Ledbury, Upton-upon-Severn are all within 10 miles; further afield are Worcester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester.
The site is off-grid - yet being south-south-easterly orientated, there is scope for plentiful sunlight (when conditions allow!) to top up leisure batteries using solar panel/s.
The usual facilities are provided i. E. Fresh drinking water, a disposal point for 'black water' (i. E. Inboard toilet) waste.
There is also a WC/wash/shower room: no charge.
Availability is notionally all year but obviously, this is dependent upon weather and ground conditions. Access can be a challenge during prolonged wet weather so please ring ahead of any 'ad-hoc' arrival or visit during such conditions.
As of April 2025, pitch fees are £11/night. via mobile
