Another delightful stay at Brookfields. Janet and Richard are lovely hosts and always have time for a chat. Very well kept site with large pitches and if putting an awning up bring rock pegs(unless you have 1 of the 2 grass pitches).

Excellent value for money as well.

We have been several times before but we do look forward to our next visit every time. Toilet facilities are excellent and always clean.

Plenty of walks from the site and we discovered a new one from just outside the site which takes you all the way to Wensley without going on the road. And there is the Three Horse Shoes pub to refresh yourself in before you walk back.

Our only regret this year is we have not visited as much as we would have liked.

 Very good simple site.

Spotless facilities, very helpful site owners.

Nice easy walk to Harmby Waterfall, and good dog walks from the site.

We will be returning.

A beautiful brookside garden leads to a spacious 7 plot hard standings separated by sections of green grass, overlooking a scenic valley.

Walks from the door, pubs within a pleasant stroll, donkeys, sheep and horses in the next fields adds to its appeal.

The clean well appointed toilet has plenty of loo roll and hand towels and warm water.

Good recycling, pleasant helpful owners. What more could you want at a very reasonable cost.

We will be back.

Love the site for it's location, views and donkeys.

We have stayed here here on 3 occasions and it is one of our favourites sites to go back to. A 25 minute walk in to Leyburn is a treat with it's pubs, shops and cafes. Mostly off road

The footpath walk to Spennithorne and the Old Horn pub is easy and worth it the visit. A longer walk to Middleham is also worth the effort. A great place with it's castle and history of horse training. Great pubs and cafes

Brookfields Farm is a Gem as are the owners. Please leave space for our next visit. !

Sorry this review is late. I meant to do it on our return home.

Thank you

Martin and Gill

Just had a long weekend at Brookfield farm Cl, access is really good, we love it there, we try to use this CL around 4 or 5 times a year, the view are fantastic, Over looking Cover Bridge, Middleham, Penhill and beyond, in the fields around the campsite are donkeys, ponies and pet sheep.

The site has 6 hard standing and 1 grass pitch, all have a good View of the valley. Richard and Janet work really hard around the farm and campsite, the grass is kept immaculate, along with the rest of the facilities ( one toilet and Information room, Elsan point and recycling) yet will always makes time to talk to guests

Walking is really good, to Leyburn, it’s around 30 minutes, it can be done using 90% footpaths across the fields.

Also you’re straight on to a footpath out side the farm gate, which takes you down towards the river, turn left it comes out by the pub in spinnythorne, go to the right it takes you to the road bridge just outside Middleham.

There’s plenty of good walks around this area.

 Wonderful site, friendly helpful owners.

The views are beautiful and the location is great for walks from the site or driving short distances to fabulous locations.

Super markets about 20 mins drive local Co-op 5 min drive or 20 min walk.

A twenty minute drive from junction 51 on A1.
