 A pleasant small site, not far from St. Omer, mostly consisting of long term stays, like many French sites. Handy for the channel crossings.
Toilet block is clean and functional; hot showers were good. Pitch size was generous, water points readily available.
The site has a farmyard feel - I was greeted by a scrawny looking chicken, an escape artist from the pen, and regularly visited by a couple of goats.
There’s an aviary round the corner too. The owners were friendly without being intrusive. They also run a B&B on the site. , and speak some English, so appreciate one’s efforts to use French.
The village, with a shop, a bar and a restaurant is a short walk away.
The restaurant sports a huge portrait of the master chef Paul Bocuse: their cooking does him proud.
