 This Campsite is owned and run by the Swiss Camping and Caravanning Club. The site managers are very friendly and helpful and keep the place, including the sanitary facilities, spotlessly clean.
They run a bar and restaurant from the reception area. There are plenty of tables for eating and general use, all under cover, useful for rainy days.
The place is a little tired looking, and would benefit from a sprucing up, but it is very clean, well run and good value for money compared to the sites nearer Lake Constance.
We stayed here as we were visiting relatives in St Gallen. There's a bus into the City (7km) and to Lake Constance (10km)
St Gallen is a lovely City and well placed for hiking in the beautiful Apenzell region to the south and for visting the lake to the north.
