 Stayed on this CL for four nights in March 2026 to test out the new caravan (good job because the fridge failed), we were the only unit.
Access is straightforward from an A road with 30mph limit, traffic was light and occasional so not irritating. The owners were extremely helpful and nice. Each pitch has electric and dedicated water. Elsan point is near the stables behind the house. Cost £25/night.
The views across the lake are stunning, amazing sunsets, all pitches are southwest facing but there's so much room you could site the unit anyhow you like.
No light pollution at night, the milky way was amazing, and never stayed on a site with the sound of so many woodpeckers before. Apparently there's warm springs in the lake. Good for swimming and paddle boarding. Very deep dropoffs.
Aberaeron was a really nice coastal town we visited, cheapest fuel is here, the Murco garage on the hill, coastal road out of town.
Really enjoyed our stay, wouldn't go anywhere else in the area.
