This is a good camping municipal close to the town centre, but it does therefore suffer from noise from the surrounding area. Cyclists and hikers are on pitches away from the entrance up against a large stone wall. Many years ago this was France's premier naval dockyard manufacturing wooden ships. It's now an industrial park and so you can expect to be woken up by workmen quite early. You will also get noise from the local roads.
