 This is an excellent high quality site with a very nice swimming pool and an adults only hot tub. There is a cafe restaurant on site which overlooks the pool. Arcachon is a short drive away. Friendly staff.
The site is on the north side of Biganos, so a long walk from the railway station and the big supermarkets which are on the south side of the station. There is a very frequent train service to Bordeaux and Arcachon, with other TER trains going south to Bayonne and Hendaye. The site is not far off the Velodyssee cycle path. If you need someone to fix your bike, the mechanic at Roul’en vélos in Audengue (4kms to the north) is highly recommended. The shop is near the Aldi.
One feature I really liked. There is a small washroom next to the cafe entrance in which you find 3 wetrooms with toilet and washbasin. If you don't like communal toilet blocks, this is great.
Cyclists and hikers are in a space right next to the pool. It was warm when I stayed and there were people in the pool up to about 22:00, but at that point all the families decided it was bed time and peace and quiet came quickly.
