This is a friendly site. Warm welcome.

Hikers/cyclists are put in a field with large trees right down by the gate to the lake shore. The only snag with this was on the night I stayed two teenaged boys came down about midnight and were hanging about, not being too noisy, but just enough to disturb me. I shone my torch on them and they ran away!

The facilities are good and next to the washblock is an open but covered seating area with tables and chairs, microwave and plugs for charging phones etc. So I cooked in the microwave and sat up there whilst charging my batteries.

When I left the next morning I exited via the beach gate as a shorter way to reach the road to Parentis village which is about a 15 minute cycle away.
