 The site is very central to the town, but also very quiet helped by the sound of the river which flows down one side of the site. The man running it is juggling the site and being a waiter at a local cafe, so you have to phone him and he arrives by scooter.
The cafe and bar on the site are not open, but everything else was working fine. Good hot showers, but be warned no lights inside the cubicles, so go before it gets too dark or you will need to leave the door open. (Which led to an encounter with a naked German when I went to the loo!)
It's very easy to get to the shops and cafes in town, no more than 5 mins walk. The site is on the Camino de Santiago route. I was cycling from Burgos to Leon and this was a useful halfway.
