Beautiful site located in a vineyard, there is also a garden centre and shop on site.
Not all pitches have EHU, though strangely the price is the same. Our non-EHU pitch was on a lovely spot between the vines and the woods, and very shady on a hot weekend. It is adults only and no dogs allowed.
You need to book in advance, you're allocated a number and after pitching pay in the shop. The garden centre cafe is very good.
There's a brewery/ale house nearby (The Pig) and a pub (The Filly Inn). You can walk here and Brockenhurst avoiding the main road, there are instructions on site.
Brockenhurst is around 25 minutes away, you have to cross the main road twice though. It is worth visiting St Nicholas Church and the adjacent Commonwealth War Graves, there is a good explanation of the history and New Zealand connection.
The toilets have a combination lock at night which we initally found problematic. There are two showers (also combination lock) and a small washing up area.
Would definitely stay again.
