 Stayed a night en route to getting the Shuttle from Folkestone. It completely exceeded expectations for us!
A lovely quiet night in a field, good-sized pitches all around it.
Met by staff as we arrived and shown to our pitch. Stayed the night next to the adjoining field of sunflowers.
Facilities are modern and immaculate, they look new as other reviews have noted. Great washing up area too.
All pitches are grass only, hence why the site is only open over summer months.
A lovely summer night spent here before we had to head off for the Shuttle.
Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely return as we use the shuttle again.

Site with new facilities, looks like it only opened last year. The facilities are basic but good, it was busy but didn't need to wait long for showers (though there are only two).
There is an electric and non-electric field, we were in the non-electric and were allowed to choose our own pitch - these were numbered and quite spacious. The site was quiet at night, the warden was living in a campervan on site and did regular rounds. Music is not allowed.
The site is next to The Blue Silo, a micro-pub which has music and food trucks at the weekend, and is well worth a visit - this only opened in 2025.
There are lots of footpaths nearby, and it is a short walk to the main road where there is a decent bus service between Folkestone and Canterbury. There's also a cafe at the Garden Centre near the bus stop if you fancy breakfast there.
All in all, this was a really good site, and we will be back.
