We stayed here for a few days since the bigger campsite in Brighton was booked out and I'm pleased we found this lovely site.

The views are stunning, as it faces North to the ridge of the South Downs. The road is sufficiently far enough away that you don't hear it.

The site itself is on part of a hill. Small campers park along the top on the grass, but there's still a small gradient, so chocks are recommended for levelling.

There's a tight entrance to the camping field, and is probably the reason that larger motorhomes are not bookable.

Shower and toilets are old fashioned but clean and tidy. Having shops, 24hr petrol station and a pub all within 10 minutes walk was great. It's a 20 minute bus ride down to Brighton. You could walk there in probably just over an hour or so.

But it's a lovely site just to hang out and chill on and watch the sheep and the birds do their thing over the gorgeous vista.
