This site is ideal for one night to break your journey up, I don't think its suitable to use as a holiday base due to the standard of the toilet block and showers but if your self sufficient this would not be a problem, the bottom field is far enough from the main road so road noise is not a problem mains hook up is available and at £5 per person per night for the pitch we thought it excellent value. The bus runs along the main road to Worcester one way and Kidderminster the other.
There is a pub just down the road and another two in the village of Hartelbury plus a small british legion club that sells hot food and cask ales, visitors are made very welcome. I would use this site again but it is basic so don't expect too much.

Ended up on this site when Wolverley messed us around. This site is basic. There is no disputing that. The site adminsitrators are aware of this and made sure we inspected the facilities before we agreed to pitch. However without alternative arrangements we had little choice.
If this site was busy I would not want to stay here. However in the absence of other campers we were free to enjoy ourselves. A big empty field to enjoy a game of football or cricket, flying a kite, cricket on the radio. Very pleasant.
A plush pub within 600 yards walk, a little chef at the top. Not fantastic if you have a young family but these holidays are what you make them.

May 2003
1) Come and cut the grass when we are sitting outside our awning and spray it all over us - thanx for that!
2) Site Warden - couldn't understand a word of what he was saying.
3) Play area - what play area! Swing frame-no swings. Two climbing frames,see-saw and a paddling pool.
4) Toilet/Shower facilities - no comment. Thank goodness we had the porta potti!
5) 'Drinking Water Only Taps' - looked very dodgey!
6) Thought we had missed the camping site and ended up on the local gypo site.
