We stayed for a fortnight on this site with 2 boys, husband and self. Excellent position a walk from the beach and with a friendly group of regular children. No shop, which is a disadvantage. We would have stayed for the season this year as the then owners allowed for £500 (April-October) but new owners are charging over £1000! No bookings are being accepted for short term stays. A lot to ask for somewhere with no shop, minimal facilities- only 2 ladies showers, and no play area.

This is a great little site only a short 10 min walk to clean and quite spectacular beaches at Low Newton and the south of Beadnell Bay. Try the ship inn at Low Newton. The Joiners at high newton is only a 2 min walk from the site and serves good food and ale and the staff and locals are friendly.
The site is clean and tidy and the toilet and shower block are excellent. Not a lot on site for kids but when you have two of the best beaches in Northumberland on your doorstep who cares. We will be going back as its only 1 hours drive for us
