One of the best sites we have stayed on. Very quiet. Very well set out. Clean and tidy around the site.
Showers and toilets immaculate. Very friendly site. Mobile fish and chips call Saturday. Be warned portions huge. Very tasty.
Good base for exploring.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Really clean facilities, all within easy walking distance of our pitch. Lots of water taps close to all pitches.
Enjoyed a walk along the Pentewan Valley Trail. This is also a cycle way. Ate at Kingswood bar and restaurant, delicious food. Easy 15 min drive to Eden Project, and Mevagissy.
Would score River Valley 9/10 - great location, friendly staff, clean facilities, well kept grounds. Would definitely stay again.

Just had a long w/e, only booked early in in the week and they had to juggle pitches around to fit us in,
First time visiting but will definitely be back
Very clean and have the social distancing sorted out
Only downside for me is you have to pay for WI - FI never done that before.

My third stay at River Valley, just me and my dog Tess. The pitch was lovely, the site clean and tidy, with them having all weather pitches there's never a problem with battered pitches, they are always pristine.
Facilities spotless, plenty of water points, bins and recycling. Entry to site is via a card operated barrier, very secure. Staff and owners all very nice. Lovely walks in the woods and into towe along the cycle path.
I wouldn't hesitate to return again when I need a Cornwall fix.

We had great time in this camping site. The reception was friendly and helpful 😄. The location is perfect to get around Cornwall.
The pitch is very spacious and clean. The toilets are clean. We definitely recommend it to others and if we visit Cornwall again, this is definitely our first choice. 😄

Love River Valley, value for money hardstanding pitches, a fabulous indoor swimming pool, no club house just small and family friendly.
In close proximity to a pub and fabulous restaurant, a small petting area with pot belly pigs and chickens.
Behind the site is a cycle path which leads to Pentewan beach with the fabulous Hubbox and in Pentewan Village a great pub.
St Austell has plenty of facilities and the most gorgeous fishing villages of mevagissey and fowey are a short drive or indeed bus ride away. The lost gardens of Heligan is an hours walk away or a short drive and the Eden Project is nearby
We really love this site and are heading back soon it really is our happy place.

We stayed at this site for the first time in July, granted only for a short break.
What a lovely site, the pitches were well maintained and of a good size.
The hedges to the pitches providing privacy and encouraging nature, we saw cheeky little robins who sat on the caravan step obviously they knew a treat awaited!
The site was immaculate and homely, if asked would we recommend it. Than yes would be our answer!

First stay at site, staff were very friendly and helpful. Caravans very clean, sheets and duvets with cover were supplied. A welcome tray of tea and biscuits was a nice touch and much appreciated after a long journey.
Good facilities. Available parking close by but not by caravan. Some caravans have an allotted parking area. Will definitely return.
Half the site was for static caravans the other half of the site for tents/trailing caravans/motorhome.
Site had indoor swimming pool. Plenty of bins for recycling.
Small well stocked shop/reception.
