What a gem tucked away in the gentle landscape.

The owners and wardens are fabulous, the facilities spotless. And no midges while we were there!

We highly recommend this little site!

Lovely quiet site in a beautiful setting.

The owners couldn't have more friendly and accommodating, Hamish helped me to move my trailer tent to a better part of the site and I was extremely grateful for his assistance in putting up the trailer tent as it can be a struggle on my own.

The loo and shower were immaculate and good washing up facilities.

The area appears to be good for walking and is definitely great for cycling.

Both Dumfries and Thornhill are nearby providing plenty of choice for shopping and eating.

Owners Hamish and Margaret were perfect hosts, brilliant sense of humour and so helpful.

Would go back there again and again

Stayed one night en route to Arran,

Owner said lots of people do that! Great little site,

Very friendly welcome,

Saw the dog so immediately showed me walk routes.

Decent wi-fi which wasn’t the case on all sites.

Fantastic peaceful little site. Lovely owners who produce they're own honey which is available to buy on site.

One toilet and one shower which were immaculate and adequate for the size of the site.

Lovely walks from the site

Pleasant, peaceful site in a hamlet.

Helpful, friendly staff.

Facilities clean and basic.

Little or no telephone signal on site.

Details of one place to eat near by but an expensive menu.

Site was lovely were well maintained.

It is a very quiet and remote location. Owners very friendly and helpful.

The only downside was no access to WiFi and unable to use mobile data as no signal. This site states WiFi access but this is not the case.
