Went to this campsite Penally Farm, as the campsite we booked next door 'Oasis' was disgusting.

This campsite was great location, great pitch, loads of room, although some road noise.

The couple running the campsite were very friendly and helpful.

Great location for walks to Tenby and the beach.

Facilities although basic were adequate, and apparently will soon be modernised.

Good Points-Tenby walking distance via beach.Close to the coastal path, easy access by side of camp site. Lovely local pub serving food until 20:30, very friendly locals.Basic but clean facilities.Hair dryer says 50p a go but is actually free.Free hot water for showers.

Bad Points- Made to feel unwelcome site over priced. On a hill.

I've stayed at this site on and off for 14 years, although this is the first time back for two years. On our arrival Lloyd was at reception and he is very friendly and helpful. The site is at a fantastic location, the only thing to change is that The Crown Pub has closed down, The Cross is still open and doing great meals. The beach and railway station are a short walk away. The showers are basic but with hot water. The biggest down side is the busy road that runs at the back of the site, so it can be noisy. I stayed with two of my children, when it is sunny it is a great location, alas we had heavy rain so we left a few days early

Site is great location though some road noise. Unfortunately it is expensive £20 per night in May, poor facilities. The toilets are clean but given the cost per night they are very basic. All such a shame as great spot, a short walk through golf course to a fab beach. There is a great little village pub a short walk away where the food served is reasonably priced and excellent home cooking.

The site is also within walking distance to Tenby either along the beach or through footpaths.

Had a warm welcome from brian on arrival, shown my plot which was a bit sloping, but got the ramps out. Great views over tenby golf course to beach.
Weather was fantastic, breakfast under awning. Faultless. The toilets and showers are basic but clean and tidy. Going back in july as the site and area really good.

For such a beautiful location, the site is really poor. I can accept the sloping ground; the impenetrable windbreak and canvas compounds erected by seasonal pitch holders; even the rudimentary toilet and shower blocks can be tolerated despite the intermittent water supply and abundant wild life. But to have a power voltage that can barely boil a kettle let alone have a light on to do so is asking too much for the £16 per night.
Fortunately, the weather was glorious and throwing the reset switch on the hook up roughly 30 times in 4 days helped with our exercise. We have been there before but will not again.

Recently camped at this site, for two nights over a weekend.
The price was £12.00 per night.
Site was basic with female and male toilets, sinks and shower cubicles.
Although small, they were clean, with a good supply of toilet roll, but the hairdryer was not working.
The camp was about an half an hours walk across the golf course or an hour down the beach to get to Tenby.
Two lovely country pubs about five minutes down the road.
Had a lovely stay but unfortunately would be reluctant to go back due to the attitude of the site manager and his clear dislike of young people (me & my partner are 25 &27),which I felt was totally unnecessary.

We've stayed at this camp site now a couple of times. its best to get there before 9 as the manager might not stay on site over night.

It costs only 8 pounds a night per night for tents , which is cheap.
The site is basic but interesting. As it has an RAF base close by so you get to see fantastic air displays over the week. Dont be put off by this though as unless your looking out for them you'll never even know they're there.

On site you have the basics of showers, toilets, water and electic hook ups. 5 minutes down the road you have two lovely pubs (food is good) and a post office where they sell everything!

This site is perfect for those who like to enjoy the experience of camping. even children enjoy it here.

The site is being updated in the winter with new toilet facilities as they could do with a little TLC. But they are always kept tidy and have many toilet rolls so theres never a shortage. Two showers in each male and female section but I've never had to wait to use one.

We've never needed to book before arriving as we tend to get there thursday morning which is the best time to get the best spots.
