We Booked for it's closeness to town, which it was (about 20mins) but the footpath walk is across fields and partially tracks and pavements. Ideal for us and our dog but perhaps not for others less able. A pity there's no bus option. The landlord was most helpful with directions and even offered us a lift.
The pub is also delightful, old and cosy with good real ales and homemade food. They also do wonderful snacks, pork pies and baps.
The site itself was quite small yet had all we needed. We especially appreciated the many standpipes at each pitch and the well heated cottage containing the showers and toilets.
Lots of EHU points too.
We didn't notice the road noise or the nearby hunting hounds and our dog was not bothered about them either.
The adults only status was also a boon.
The washing up area could do with a roof and floodlight and perhaps a general update but was adequate with hot water.
I'm sure the hedges and grass will be better maintained in the spring and summer as it's obviously difficult in a very wet December.

Wanting to break our journey to North Wales we came across this site when looking for a different one we had stayed at previously (now closed) with a similar name.
Glad we found it. Out of the way and quiet (unless the kennels in an adjoining property kick off) it is a healthy wak away from Bridgenorth (we did it three times and felt better for it).
Small but well appointed shower block and all the usual services. The pub is delightful but let them know if you want to pop in for a drink in the evening as they close early if -there are no food bookings and the place is empty (happy enough, though, to stay open if they know you're coming).
This site will become our regular stopover from now on if we are travelling west.

The site was nice… located next to a lovely pub…
Only one male and one female toilet and shower…
Pack of dogs two fields across barked regularly…
Although we loved the site and location it was very over priced for what you got… £140 for 3 nights!

Fantastic little site.
The owner and his staff were lovely. Food and drinks were first class.
Great spot with Bridgnorth And Bewdley nearby.
Only criticism would be lack of loo rolls and not one sink plug anywhere.
Otherwise site facilities were "top notch"

Love the location.
Halfway House is beautiful with good food, wine and beer not to mention welcoming hosts and locals.
Site small and pretty.
Good facilities for ladies, gents and a disabled shower and loo. Outdoor wash up sinks.
No wi fi.
Lots to do in the area.
Our second visit and it won't be the last.

Our stay at the halfway house inn campsite was. A delightful one
We had young children who thoroughly enjoyed their selves
We were given choice of pitches upon arrival
I was worried about it being a pub with the children but needn't have worried no noise what so ever
We all really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back again
Staff very helpful and owners were lively too

Privately run campsite attached to pub/restaurant. Good location only 2 miles from Brid0gnorth.
Pub/restaurant does very good food, good beers & wines.
Showering & washing facilities inadequate for number of pitches on-site.
Only 1 toilet & 1 shower for gents & the same for ladies. 1 disabled room as well.
Facilities a little outdated for the price.

Great 1 night stay over and didn't have to rush to get off next day.
As first time in our motor home found it easy to set up.
Every one was welcoming.
