We booked this campsite to visit the local food and drink festival.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Alan who made us feel so welcome.
We explained that we were here to visit the local food and drink festival, Alan was a really kind and offered us a lift, there and back. How kind was that!?
The site was absolutely beautiful, lots of trees with a pond. It was so peaceful.
The toilet and showers were absolutely spotless. I would highly recommend this site.

Liked quiet surroundings and laid back attitude of site staff.
Exceptionally well maintained, very attractive site.
Very friendly atmosphere from long term residents to short term visitors, like myself.
Nothing to dislike.

Beautiful setting good level pitches convenient clean facilities what more could you ask for at £20 a night.
Site manager Alan very helpful. The static site is more like BAVARIA the SHROPSHIRE love to see it in a snowy winter.
The ground staff do a great job. Well done.

Oh I wish I could live here! A beautiful site with very good facilities in a lovely location.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming, the facilities are very good and clean. An unusual bonus is their heated information room with free WiFi.
A very good supply of information in the room but as we only had one night on site we didn’t get full advantage of the area.
Another time I hope

Totally agree with previous comments. Toilet blocks are heated, just check the thermostat on the side of the heater! Also has a heated WiFi lounge! Only a small number of pitches (hardstanding).
Our dog loved the walking around the site. 20 minute easy walk to village and Baker's Arms, pet friendly and superb food.
We didn't find any drain down point.
Staff were great.

A immaculately kept site and someone loves gardening there. Shower block clean and warm with all facilities for tourers. Lovely owners.
Peaceful and quiet. There seems to be plenty of footpaths around if you enjoy walking.
The site is dog friendly. The pretty town of Ludlow is about 5miles away with two National Trust properties in the area as well.
What more do you need.

This is probably one of the nicest sites we have stayed on. A beautifully cared for site with excellent toilet and shower facilities. Heated washrooms with lavish hot water always spotlessly clean.
Don't visit this site if you want anything else but peace and quiet with lots of birds to enjoy and a pretty lake complete with a seat where you can sit and enjoying the peace and quiet of this lovely place.
Friendly helpful site managers make the whole stay a great experience. Already looking forward to our next visit but would advise maybe not the best place to take small children who like play parks and entertainment.
There is a village pub nearby and Orleton village is quite close but probably best to arrive with supplies for the earlier part of your stay

We have just spent five nights at Orleton Rise and found it to be a quiet relaxed and friendly place. Facilities were kept spotlessly clean and warm (we did have some cold weather during our visit).
Although only two of everything in the gents toilet there was never any congestion despite most of the touring/seasonal pitches being occupied.
Would thoroughly recommend a stay here and will visit again ourselves if ever in the area.

We enjoyed our ten day stay at Orleton Rise Caravan Site. This is a little gem, set in beautiful countryside with first class facilities.
The staff are very helpful and are a credit to the owners. As an additional bonus there is a fishing lake available to visitors (about a mile away) which is available free of charge and is well stocked with a wide range of fish.
Most of the available touring pitches are taken by season customers so it is essential that you book ahead. The local pub (an easy stroll away) has some fine ales and a very good restaurant.
Well done Orleton Rise and thank you.

The touring site is quite a small area off the main static site. There were a number of caravans that seemed to be seasonal and as there were only 2 or 3 other units booked in during our visit it was very quite and peaceful - apart from the owls and badgers visiting overnight that is! The other people seemed friendly and the warden and staff we encountered were helpful and informative.
The toilet block is quite adequate with ample hot water in the showers and stools available. However, they were a bit chilly - not sure if they are heated in winter, also there are only 2 showers and 4 toilets so if all pitches were full there could be some congestion. Each pitch had electric hookup and the water point was not too far away - which was helpful as there is a slope up to the site.
The website mentioned a fishing lake - but although there is an ornamental lake in the middle of the site the fishing lake seems to be at another location - some distance away.
The lanes around were very peaceful for dog walking. However, the access to this site is very narrow and there are very few places to pull in- which was OK as we didn't meet any traffic either on the way in or out! As quite a new caravanner this was quite stressful. Not sure that the owners can do anything about this - but would be helpful if they could. The site is well signed from the A49. There are a number of National Trust sites, as well as Ludlow, Leominster and Much Wenlock to explore. Overall we had a very relaxing time and the site suited us very nicely.
