 This site is in fabulous location adjacent to a large country park which has many activities and good walks. Most pitches are spacious and the site is well looked after. There are no large shops nearby, this isn't a criticism but worth mentioning if you have a family. Food vans visit the site frequently in high season.
Unfortunately, the facilities and ONE team of wardens let this site down.
The toilet block is old and does not have enough showers or toilets when the site is busy. I was queuing for both the shower and the toilet on at least three occasions. The wardens are helpful and friendly with the exception of one team.
A female warden reduced my wife to tears when we arrived by shouting at her in front of numerous other caravaners because she said we were holding people up and causing an incident on the approach road. There were only two units behind us and they were through the barriers so we could not have been blocking anything.
I think two caravans before us may have caused a delay as we had to wait to get through the barriers, but we didn't hold anyone up for longer than two minutes, and certainly didn't cause an incident on the approach road as both units behind us were through the site barriers when we started to reverse on a pitch. This aggressive shouting upset my wife and put a put a downer on our holiday.
A complaint to the club followed but was not taken seriously.

Had a fantastic time, perfect weather and so much to do we never left the park.
Site was clean and pretty well spaced toilets were kept well.
Only issue I had with the showers was limited time you have when you press the button otherwise fine.

A lovely site situated at the entrance to Pembrey Country Park. Site is very well kept with the wardens out mowing, hedge trimming and weeding daily.
Facilities are a bit dated but were clean and tidy.
The site is quite remote, with it being about half hour drive to LLanelli and the nearest big supermarket. While we were at the site there was a pizza van came a few times, there are also option to eat inside the country park.
If you like walking an cycling though this is the place for you.

This site has everything- stunning forests for off road cycling and hiking, 8 miles of glorious beach, country park facilities for cycle hire, ski slope, toboggan, excellent restaurant and bar.
Something for everyone.

The site is kept immaculately clean and tidy by the hard-working wardens.
Facilities, as expected are spotless.
Having visited on numerous occasions, I have only two gripes.
Firstly, the reception area has lost its shop. As the site is in the middle of nowhere basically, we used to rely on getting milk and other provisions there.
Secondly, the behaviour of visitors has certainly deteriorated.
Despite a mention on the reverse of the welcome leaflet, asking visitors to respect the privacy of members by not cutting across pitches, lots of people were doing exactly that, making a direct bee-line for the shower block, rather than taking a really short walk around the tarmac and paths.
Happily, most of the visitors were extremely friendly and welcome to chat and pass on any tips.

Excellent site, clean and well kept.
Surrounding area is fantastic, close to a huge beach and loads of walks directly from the site.
Acres of grassed area where locals enjoyed their days out and BBQ's.
Dog friendly.

Excellent site, lots of grass and trees, parked on grass, no problem some areas still conned off as too wet.
Could park anyway around as long as between 2 posts.
Very helpful and friendly on arrival.
25 mins walking to the sea. 5 mins from the site through the gate to milk and milkshakes via machine.

Positives - Lots of space and things to do. Clean and helpful staff.
Negatives - not enough water taps and you can be quite some distance from the shower block.
If you need to be closer I would suggest asking the wardens to place you nearer if possible.

Stayed at this site numerous times due to its location for the beach and miles of paths to walk with the dogs.
The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed a grass pitch in a nice sunny spot.
Facilities are of the usual standard and even with such a big site there were never any queues.
Easy walk/bike ride down to Bury Port along traffic free path.

Lovely site, well kept, very clean and friendly staff.
Minor niggle is shelf/seat in shower too high and narrow so take your own stool if sitting is needed.
Excellent location for cycling and cafe next door open till 6 for takeaway.
