Lovely quiet site very laid back. Facilities include electric hookup and chemical disposal which is exactly what we expected.
Site is sheltered by trees and flat. There are no shops or pubs within walking distance but they are only 5 mins. away by car.
If you want a good sandy beach go to Ulrome about 5 miles away. It is market day at Driffield on Thursday which is worth a visit.
Would definitely stay here again.

I was planning to stay here because of the pub but sadly the pub itself is now closed. See below for a message off their website - 'Gordon and Jeannette regret to advise that from 1 July 2008 the Plough Inn will be closing for business. However the caravan CL site will remain open as usual'

My wife and I have been visiting the Plough at Foston for a number of years because we enjoy staying there so much. The site itself is well maintained, peaceful and situated in a delightful part of the country. It is handy for the coast and there are some lovely walks nearby.
One of the big attractions of the Plough is the excellent restaurant which offers a really good selection of wholesome meals at a reasonable price. On our visit last week we were particularly impressed by the atmosphere in the dining room which had fresh roses on every table. My only complaint was that there was too much for me to eat on my plate!
Over forty years we have stayed at many CLs up and down the country and rate this as one of the best.
