 Excellent site. Great location for Lincoln City with nearby bus stop which runs regularly.
Lovely Park with beautiful walks from the site.
Site was clean, had efficient, welcoming staff who were very knowledgeable about local area.
Good amenities and well priced.
We would definitely visit again.

Not somewhere that I would return to
The location was on the edge of a large housing estate & it didn’t feel very secure
The location of toilet/showers were outside of the actual site with only one working shower for men
No one to meet & greet just name & pitch number on a notice on the rangers office door
Did not see any staff member at all during our stay

A little gem of a site but what made it even better was the great customer care from Zoe, she went above and beyond to help us when we had to leave early.
Lovely location with regular buses into Lincoln.

Very nice clean site. Lovely walks, and the scenery is great.
Convenient for buses to Lincoln.
We had a lovely stay.

Had another lovely stay at this site, one of our favourites. With the site being so close to the country park, security is taken very seriously & there is a barrier at the entrance which requires a code, emailed to us prior to our stay.
Toilets (codes provided)are outside the barrier, just around the corner. This posed no problems to us but anyone with mobility problems might not like this.
Our pitch number was displayed in the office window & it was tidy & level.
We took our granddaughter with us & we enjoyed walking round the beautiful park, feeding the ducks, calling at the play area & finishing off with an ice cream from the little on site cafe.
One of the bridges has been temporarily removed which was unfortunate but we are assured there are plans to replace it.
Everyone was very friendly, we had very good weather & wished we could have stayed longer.

Little gem of a campsite.
Great location on the edge of a country park.
Lovely walks. Cafe right next door.
Easy to get into Lincoln with bus stop just outside the entrance. Very helpful and friendly wardens.
Amenities were a little basic and dated but kept very clean.
Will definitely be back.

What a lovely campsite. Reminds me of how campsites use to be. Families getting together whilst kids played happily with no screaming, shouting or running around people’s units.
The atmosphere was the best we have come across in recent years. The campsite is mainly level grass with two hard stands for disabled use.
Electric to all pitches, grass neatly cut and toilets and showers exceptionally clean.
They are of an older style but this does not distract from the fact they are good functional showers. There are two hard working wardens who always speak to you.
The country park, which is on the doorstep, is a nice place to walk around with visitor information on wildlife, flora and fauna which you might see.
All at a very reasonable cost. We will certainly come again.

This site is in lovely surroundings but is let down by poor facilities. Two toilets and two showers, with mouldy shower curtains, which flooded on use.
This isn't great when travelling by camper as a good shower is a must. Add to that my surprise on finding two baby toads in the shower cubicle at 7am and you'll understand why the review isn't glowing.
Having said that, the grounds and lake looked lovely if you have your own facilities and are staying for a few days.

We love this site, only an hour or so from home bug so handy for the city yet feels like in the country.
This site has everything you need.

We had 3 night stay we are 2 Sisters, visiting Lincoln area,
Lovely site, in beautiful woodlands
Easy to visit Lincoln, bus stop nearby
And Lyne ( Goldilocks ) was is amazing assets to the camp, she is helpful happy and great fun

Stayed here before and was pleased with location of the site for Lincoln city and also the cleanliness
Same for this visit, it’s easy to get into Lincoln by bus from site, just walk down Skellingthorpe Rd for a bus in to town. The best stop is just after the school, about 500 yds from site, buses are more frequent.
Site was lovely, clean and well maintained it’s in the middle of a large park with a cafe, toilet shower facilities were immaculate, old fashioned yes but more than acceptable.
The warden at reception Lynn(e) was brilliant very friendly and helpful, she wrote down the access codes and gave me directions for buses and the nearest pub. Also a helpful assistant Dave.
At today’s prices I thought it was reasonable.
Don’t know about the child friendliness as I didn’t see any

We booked for 3 nights Thurs to Sun but actually ended up staying for 2 nights as hubby had to work on the Thurs. We arrived at around 10am on the Friday which wasn't an issue (I know that due to access sometimes sites have strict arrival times but this wasn't a problem at all). There was no sign of the warden but our pitch number was clearly marked on a sheet in the window of the warden's office.
The site is in a huge country park, we had our dog with us (as did lots of other campers) and there were lots of different walking routes to choose from around the park and the lakes. There were also some wide open spaces where the dog could be off the lead to play with a ball.
There is also a small cafe very close to the site that opens at around 10am and serves snack type food and drinks and ice-creams. Our daughter and family came to meet us at the site and our small grandson enjoyed a walk around the park, feeding the ducks, and playing in the well equipped play park. The paths around are wide and flat perfect for pushchairs, wheelchairs or children on bikes or scooters. The park was very well maintained.
The camping area itself is a small site, pitches are a good size and you don't feel crammed in. The site was well maintained and the bins emptied daily by the warden. The warden, Lynne was really lovely, she was friendly and chatty and very helpful and accommodating.
The toilet block was just outside the gate to the site, I was a bit uncomfortable heading across there in the dark on my own, although the gateway and the toilet block were well lit. The toilets and showers were basic but always very clean.
The shower was an electric shower, the pressure wasn't the best I've ever had but it was a constant stream of hot water - no need to keep pressing a button to keep it on, and there was plenty of room to change in the cubicle with a small stool to sit on.
The site is near a bus route into Lincoln although we had family near by to collect us and drop us off. We were also able to get a local taxi who was happy to bring us and our dog back one evening, although the short walk from where he dropped us off before the barriers to the camp site gate was very dark - torches were definitely needed.
We didn't spot a grey waste disposal for the motorhome but were able to empty the toilet with no issues.
We have stayed here before and we will definitely return, highly recommended.

Loved the stay at Hartsolme
We used to stay there in the mid 80's and pleasantly surprised to find it still had the same feeling as it did then,

Great spot for a site, set in the parkland among the lakes.
Very spacious plots, clean, if limited, facilities.
Great route through the woods to the nearest pub.
Very helpful staff, helped with bus information etc.

Lovely little campsite, bonus that it is part of the park, so was able to enjoy a walk around the lake, plenty of wildlife to be seen.
Quiet little site, so perfect for unwinding for a few days.
Toilet/Shower were clean but could do some updating. Lady warden on site, was very friendly
