 Smart site with mostly hardstanding pitches with waste water drain and adjacent water tap, as befits tariff of £40 per night.
Friendly welcome from staff.
Shower and toilet facilities new and clean. Only criticism I can make is: the mirrors are placed too low, so had to crouch to use!

Absolutely fantastic site!
Exceptionally clean and well maintained, the site manager Angie and husband Steve go above and beyond maintaining the site to a very high standard, pitches are large and well spaced out, fully serviced pitches and a washing up area, with washing machine and dryer, dog friendly and only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Llangollen,
One of the best touring sites in Wales by far

We stayed here in our campervan for just 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed it. The site is only about one year old and run by a lovely lady called Helen, who was very friendly and helpful.
It's located about 1. 3 miles from Llangollen town centre (out in the country with woods and hills all around), which is walkable along a back road, so avoiding the busy main road. Walking takes about 30 mins.
All of the facilities (inc showers, toilets, washing-up sinks, clothes washing machines, etc) are a year old, so effectively brand new. The site is generally flat and each pitch has a stone area on which to park with adjacent grassed area.
There's plenty of room and a great view of Llangollen castle up on the adjacent hill. Most pitches are fully serviced with their own EHU and water. Helen was very helpful in lending us a TV cable to connect our TV to the site system, so that we could watch the World Cup England vs Argentina match (shame about the result!).
We took a lovely ride on the Llangollen Railway to Corwen and back, visited the Llangollen Canal above the town centre and then took a local bus to Trevor to see the world famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct at Trevor (£4. 20 return each).
We also had a very nice meal at the 'Corn Mill' pub on a veranda which overhung the River Dee and watched the brave kayakers negotiating the rapids.
We would thoroughly recommend this site.

We stayed on the rally field and had a great time.
Lovely area, flat walk into town and very close to Bearded Men Adventures for white water rafting.
Nice canal walk to the Aqueduct too.

Wow, what a find! From booking to arrival, Helen is at hand with useful information and communications re your stay.
The site is very easily accessed from the A5. On arrival we were met by the site manager who warmly showed us to our pitch and made us aware of the facilities.
I must say, this site is immaculate and the owners and staff should be proud of their hard work. You can tell during conversations that they are motivated and aspiring to be the best they can be.
The refurbished facilities block was well set out and very clean. A dishwashing / laundry room within the same block was equally as clean and presentable with leaflets and info supplied for visitors.
The pitches are level with a good layer of stone. They are all serviced with ehu, water and drainage for waste water.
The views from every pitch were outstanding and the site was light and airy.
Another observation was the quietness, all we could hear was the odd really loud motorbike or HGV passing on the A5, moreover, birdsong was the only background noise.
We were blessed with a couple of lovely spring days so walked into Llangollen, 20 minutes or so from site, ate at a couple of local establishments and took a horse drawn narrow boat ride. We also visited the Motor Museum, Hubby was in his element wandering around amongst old vehicles and tools of the trade, grime and oil. He is an old school mechanic by trade though so felt right at home.
We are glad to have discovered Ty Ucha and it will be a site we can't envisage ever getting tired of and will visit again soon.
There's so much to do in the area and you can also choose to just chill on site. We paid £35 pn for a level, fully serviced pitch in beautiful surroundings which I consider very good value in todays economy.

This has just re-opened under new management 2 weeks ago, a lady called Helen now runs it. It is a treasure of a place, nothing is too much trouble for Helen.
The place is immaculately clean, huge brand new shower blocks, the hardstanding pitches are massive. Our was fully serviced but the lead for the ariel, for the TV was too short but hey presto, Helen had bought some in case anyone had this problem. Helen patrols the site lots checking everyone is ok.
Its peaceful and the views are stunning. Its a short walk into Llangollen, no taxi ranks but we were given the number of a taxi.
My partner and I will 100% be returning next month.

Our 3rd visit to this Campsite. Never disappoints. Fantastic quiet views and great facilities.
Beautiful walks and bike rides surround the park.
The host Helen always helpful and friendly.
Can't wait to go back again

Stayed here bank hol weekend two adults a 2 yr old and 9 yr old. Beautiful surroundings, despite the rain when we arrived. Friendly owner, facilities are basic but clean, ladies showers were better than men's. 20p for 7 mins hot water is good. Plenty of time. Bit awkward for us with a toddler but hot water in sinks was fine.
Plenty of loo roll and soap. Men's electric went off in the night and wasn't back on by lunch the next day, no sign up to explain. There was chemical loo place, and dishwashing sink which we didn't use so don't know if it has hot water.
Games room was a bit disappointing just an old table tennis table that was past it and an old dart board. No sign to say where to get a ball or darts from, and it had no lights in it so kids couldn't use it once it was dark.
All in all for £15 Inc electric it is a good site, great views and nice location, grass needed cutting but I guess weather was not in their favour.
Enjoyed our stay and would come again.
