Excellent site - gravel hardstanding which wasn't perfectly level but easy enough with ramps.

Well kept by the very friendly owner.

Beautiful quiet location only 10 minutes walk into Thrussington village with The Star pub.

Emptying and fresh water available.

Watch out for the turn off the A46 - easy to miss.

Would certainly come here again.

A great no frills caravan site in the middle of the countryside.

Hard standing so rock pegs required.

Electric hook up by purchasing a meter card on site.

10 min walk into the village with the Star Inn, a great pub with friendly staff.

Nearby Hoby has the Blue Bell Inn. Very popular, good beer and good food.

Mick the site owner is very smiley, friendly and welcoming.

If you’re looking for a practical site, reasonably priced, no facilities, this is well worth a look.

Lovely site. Owner very friendly. Lovely views. Dog friendly.

Short walk to two lovely pubs.

Good, good, good, good, good, good. What more can I say?

Basic site with minimal facilities, in good location.

However prepaid electricity cut out early hours setting off an alarm in the van, which woke us up.

Would have been nice if we'd have been told the electricity was likely to cut out, so we could have either paid more or prepares the van.

OK but only ok. One toilet block and bar closed as out of season. Only three loos for the whole campsite. Quite tired.

Lots of old permanent pitches covered in mould spoiling the look of the site.

Booking claimed only one pitch available but it that was untrue.

Quite expensive for what it was

Basic site in a nice walking or bike riding area.

Very quiet & Mick the owner is a nice approachable guy.

Would definitely recommend if you want a no frills caravan site.

We will be going back.

A quiet site in lovely countryside but for the time of year and lacking facilities we felt it was overpriced. Electricity is metered with £1 included in the pitch fee of £20.

What a lovely, peaceful and relaxing site.

Beautiful views across the rolling hills and just the odd noise of a tractor passing by and occasional clay pigeon shooting.

There aren't any shower facilities and the toilet is a portaloo, but as we are self contained this didn't bother us.

Mick was very friendly and helpful and could always find time to stop and have a chat.

We will definitely be back!

Very friendly and welcoming, lovely and quiet, scenery was beautiful, people on site were very friendly.

Mick the owner couldn't do enough if you needed help very friendly and chatty.

No toilets or showers at the moment but hopefully they will be able to open them up before our next visit.

10 pound a night metered electricity bargain.
