Good flat site, could choose the pitch, which was between trees.
Toilet blocks clean, bit odd that the blocks were separated, mens on one site of camping area and womens the other.
Drinking water available at both blocks, but were over high sided troughs, so a bit difficult to get a 40litre out.
Town not far by car, as time limited not really explored. People on site friendly.
Would have stayed longer but this was part of a tour round Wales, and the next site was booked.
Would certainly return.
Do not use SatNav - just stay on the A40 towards Brecon, well signposted on this road.
We had 'fun' on a small track before finding the site.

A clean site well managed with level grass.
Good toilets, large showers with plenty of space to put clothes.
1/2 hour walk into town or bus stop outside.
Would visit again.

A very relaxed site, allowing you to choose your own pitch on well kept grass. We chose the main area (mostly caravans and motor homes) as we wanted EHU, which was a little more limited in the smaller field.
The washing up area and the shower/toilet blocks were absolutely spotless and very well maintained. The showers were piping hot and at no time did we have to queue, in spite of the site being relatively busy.
The social distancing guidelines were clear and adequate.
The only small thing to note is that the site is a moment away from the A40, so there is some traffic noise, but not very noticeable at night.
Can thoroughly recommend The Lamb and Flag gastropub just a 5 minute drive away.
A perfect base for visiting the Brecon Beacons.

Dogs permitted. But no dog bins on site that I could see.
Couldn't see pitch markers as they were flat on the ground.
No lights on after dark.
Liked the dog field. Bins overflowing at rubbish area.

I would recommend and use this campsite again.
It was clean and peaceful.
Only stayed 4 nights and could of easily stayed for longer.
Pitches are flat and even, and not boggy when it rained

Lovely flat grassed site, well marked pitches and friendly welcome from Mrs Davies.
Camped with our friends (one couple in a tent, us in our camper) and had a really relaxed stay.
Nice gentle 2 mile walk via quiet country lanes up to Sugarloaf Vineyard for lunch on the Sunday (book ahead).
Only a 10 minute drive away from Abergavenny - give the market a look, and even closer to Crickhowell.
Both towns have really good places for lunch etc. And interesting small shops.
Ladies facilities really good, great showers. Chaps said the toilets were a bit tired and cramped, but showers were good.
Would definitely stay here again, maybe take in some of the walks next time.
Nice to see a mix of semi-permanent, touring and tent campers.

Very friendly site with very good quality facilities, in spotless condition.
Grass areas are very well maintained, can't fault any aspect of the site.
Highly recommend and we will return, without question.

Good level pitches in a great location for walking with bus stops just outside the campsite.
Facilities were modern, clean with plenty of hot water. Friendly and helpful owners.
Highly recommend this site.

At first view the site is well maintained and in a nice location for river walks. However we soon realised that it is a meeting place for groups of family and friends.
The owner did a tour about 7pm and told one group to turn music down but he did not return later to manage the group noise. The group behind us were loud until 2am despite us asking them to be quieter at 11pm. They were not alone and other groups were noisy until the wee hours.
One group numbered around 30 so I’m not sure what Covid Rules they were following. I guess if you want to meet up with others for a bit of a party or have children who want to play safely then it’s great for you. However we wanted peace and quiet which was not available so we would not return.
We were also dismayed by the overflowing bins in the rubbish zone.
