This is a lovely little family run site on the edge of the town of Brechin and is suitable for caravans and motorhomes.
There was a small segregated area which can accommodate tents, but it was late in the season (early October 2025) and I never seen any. The pitches are mostly Grass with a few hardstanding pitches located towards the front end of the site.
The site is well maintained with the Grass cut short and tidy on my visit. There is also limited access to the nearby river and dogs are permitted on site.
Most pitches ( but not all) have adjacent electric hook, up which operates via a payment card system, which is additional to the pitch fee. Cards are available from the site owner during normal hours. My advice would be to buy a spare card in case you run out in the middle of the night.
The site facilities are basic but adequate. The toilet block looks old from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised once inside, as the whole block has been refurbished to a high standard, since the devastating floods that decimated the site, and other parts if the town, in 2023.
I must give a special mention to the person who cleans the toilets, as throughout my visit they were spotlessly clean. There is a pub within about 150m of the site, and plenty of local shops, including a reasonable sized Lidl store just a 3 min drive away.
A lovely quiet site, well placed for visiting the area and nearby towns of Montrose, Forfar and Arbroath. Would recommend.

What a lovely site! Was signposted to a quiet spot by the owners daughter which was a short walk away from the river.
Spotless facilities and a very peaceful place to be.
The pub 2 minutes walk away has large plates of good food at a reasonable price and is a good springboard to see the many unexpected delights of Angus, St Cyrus National Nature Reserve being a highlight with an endless golden sand beach.
Just a lovely experience really. Highly recommended

Very well laid out and very clean toilet and shower area very clean shower cubicles and lots of hot water and warden very helpful.
Done a lot to the site since the very bad flooding hat off to Scott and staff.
Will return there a few more times before the end of the season with family and friends.

Great little site, made very welcome.
Grounds well maintained.
The town is in walking distance & a Pub very close by.
Only thing missing for us was no drain for waste water.
But will definitely return.

Walking coast to coast (Great Outdoors Challenge 2023) 13 others on site.
Great area on site for backpacking tents.
Good location. Good pub restaurant 200 m away.
Facilities a little dated and would benefit from uplift.
Looked to be a heavily used seasonal site and some grubby looking vans lowing images of site but not impacting on backpacker use.

Great value and friendly service. Basic amenities but well kept. I would recommend this highly. Shops cafe's and plenty more close at hand. Ideal for short or long stays. Nice and quiet and well kept grounds.
