Very peaceful site if a little basic. Really friendly owners and plenty of space. The loo's and showers (1 of each in both the ladieds and gents) were nice and clean if a little old. If its peace and quiet and good value for money (£4.50pp pn) you want you can't go wrong. Another good feature is that there is a pile of bricks to use to save putting your stove on the ground.
Site is a little difficult to find, but well worth it.

Simple/basic campsite. Not overcrowded even on bank holiday weekend. Good value at 4.00/night/person. Very basic facilities but then you get what you pay for.
Difficult to find - suggest you approach from Hollingbourne as there are very few signposts. Would recommend if you don't like noisy, crowded campsites and want a useful base to explore Kent.

We visited from the Netherlands in May 2003 and were pleased with the warm welcome we recieved.This is a absolutely suitable place if you are looking for a quiet and peacefull time in nature!Especially wonderful for a small familyIt is situated in a quiet environment ( a bit difficult to find) and very good maintained, even clean toilets showers hot and cold water and a picknick table on the site!I would not recomend if you are looking for a holliday park type of campsite, or wish to hold a party...10 out of 10!greetings, Pim Sonnenberg
