 Stayed for a week, with various family members joining for 3 nights. Campsite suited our needs - plenty of open space; easy access to shower block, dog walking field etc.
Had all the facilities you need when camping, including a kettle and microwave. No play park for children, but doesn't advertise as such because it really is a peaceful campsite.
Site owners very responsive, from contacting us on the initial booking request to prompt communication on the campsite itself when we discovered a leaking pipe in the shower block - sent a recorded message very early morning and, within minutes, Michelle was down to check it out and organise a plumber.
Had a fabulous time - location perfect within 10 mins of local attractions and a retail park with Tesco, Asda, Aldi and a Spar in Trearddur etc.
Had a day out to Dublin as foot passengers, beach days at Trearddur with the children, South Stack for the lighthouse and bird watching, day out to Beaumaris, exploring rock pools at Rhoscolyn and, when we weren't cooking ourselves, plenty of cafes, eateries and a chippy tea!

Lovely site for camping.
Quiet, grass and bushes, very clean facilities - toilets, showers, washing up, launderette.
Friendly owner. Well situated for walking.
Headland and nature reserve nearby.

Very quiet and peaceful site, well looked after. Showers were hot and very clean.
Excellent views of Snowdonia in the distance.
My wife loved the fact that swifts were nesting there for the 15th year, near the shower block.
Great walks especially the South stack lighthouse from the site, probably 5 miles away.
Pubs 6 min driving distance with choice of 4.
Would recommend to everyone.

Very friendly and peaceful site with excellent facilities.
Spectacular views and loads to do in the area, with South stack lighthouse just 8mins up the road.
Plenty of places to top-up on supplies.
Tesco, Asda, B&M, Aldi, Morrisons and many more.
Highly recommend if your planning on going to Anglesey.

Blackthorn farm is a really pleasant site with lovely views and good facilities.
The site is situated in a quiet location close to the coast with sea views.
The owners were really friendly and helpful the site was very clean with good facilities they even offer the use of a fridge a microwave and a kettle which we found extremely helpful.
I'll definitely be staying again.

I cannot recommend this site at its price of £50 for a motorhome with 2 adults and hook-up.
The views are excellent in places, but these are mainly occupied by statics.
The site is very average, and rather tired.
The toilets are adequate except for the lack of toilet paper in one of the gents cubicles, and a damaged dispenser in the other. The hand dryer in the ladies did not work.
There is only what appears to be a damaged goal-frame to entertain children.
There is nobody in obvious attendance. At £25-£30 I would not have complained (except for the lack of toilet paper), but for £50, I expect more. It may be better in future, but it's not there yet. My advice is only to book for 1 night, if you must. The contact person is aware of these comments.

Great site in a great location not far from Porthdafarch beach.
Although busy didn’t feel that way and the toilet and showers were great and clewn.
Wifi available also, I think most of the caravans were seasonal.
A bit steep charging £6 a night for the dog that doesn’t use anything really
Great relaxed site and would definitely return.

Lovely site, great views, facilities cleaned regularly and perfectly adequate.
Nearby beaches are great, convenient shops on the way to the site from the main road.
Will definitely go back in the future.

Had a great time at at blackthorn farm, weather was a bit hit and miss but still great views from our tent,
Toilets and showers very clean.
Lovely place to go for walks along the coast, lovely Sunday lunch at the Eagle.
Will visit again 👍🏻😊

The owner was very helpful from booking the holiday to the end. You was made very welcome and the owners and people on the site was helpful when we got there and could not unhook the caravan.
The owners was constantly checking around the site and making shore everyone was safe and if you needed help.
The toilets was very clean to a realy good standard you could eat of the floor.
The cafe on site which is used for b&b you could get a breakfast which was to a very high standard that if you left it not full you would be shocked. When my family came to us they made shore where they stopped was close to us and safe.
So overall I would rate this site from 1-10 it would have to be 100. So well done to the owners and staff for giving us such a wonderful and safe holiday
