This was our 3rd visit to the site. The pitch we had was spacious with fantastic views over Harlyn and Constantine Bays. They have worked on the site over the last year making it a good looking site.
If I was picky there were a few things that our pitch position brought up. There was one drinking water tap for our area with the pressure really low taking 15 minutes to fill our Aquaroll.
The showers were excellent but with the constant use they could be quite messy and the availability of a squeegy would alleviate this.
At the top of the site where the dog walking is there are no dog bins which means walking though the other end for the waste bins.
This said we will be returning.

Lovely quiet campsite, amazing views,
Super clean facilities and friendly staff especially the coffee cabin first thing in the morning! They gave us tips where to sup and which beaches to visit.
Fab spot for exploring this beautiful coastline

Been coming to Higher Harlyn for years and have always been very happy, however, this year was the best ever. Shower and toilet block absolutely brilliant. Site was very well kept and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Could the staff organise some better weather for next year when we return ?
Well done best site in the area.
I have been coming to the area since I was a boy and it continues to have a magic place in my heart and Higher Harlyn is a great location for all bays, Padstow and St. Merryn.

A fantastic site and that's why we keep returning. Staff are excellent this year we had some difficulties with some of the tent pitched exceeding their limit even though you have 16 amps!
They had an electrician on site immediately and without prompting they called you into the office the next day to offer a refund on the nights electric.
The facilities improve every year but the views and location are superb.

Had a fantastic time at Higher Harlyn. Pitch was large and with superb views looking over Constantine Bay. Checking was nice and easy with lots of information and a friendly smile.
The site is in a great location for the beaches of Harlyn and Constantine Bay and a short drive to Padstow.
The site has a mixture of Statics and pitches however this does not give you the feeling of being overcrowded.
There is a pool available and Bars which are not noisy and a nuisance.
A great site and will definitely return.

Stayed on the rally field for a family holiday. Really enjoyed ourselves.
The facilities are pretty good and the site well cared-for. If I were to be critical, no-one seemed to 'police' the swimming pool area so a lot of 'bombing' was going on by bigger children which was quite intimidating for the younger ones in the pool, and the pool could get ridiculously busy (it is a large site and a small pool area). Also, none of the local beaches are within 'easy' walking distance - the nearest beach is a 20-25 minute trudge along the road.
As keen walkers, we walked all of the headland and visited all of the local coves, but that is not for the less fit and able or younger visitors. Be warned! We, however, were happy to walk and even cycled into Padstow on a couple of days.
We have definitely got this site on our radar for a return visit.

Just got back from 5 nights at Higher Harlyn, we were pretty much the only campers there!
It was great at this time of year but not sure I would go back during the peak season as it is a large site and I prefer smaller sites. Lots of caravans and more currently being built.
We had an electric pitch for £15 per night plus £3 for the dog, we were allowed on the more expensive pitches with a view as no one else was there, the view was great but only whilst stood up, couldn't see the view when we sat down! I wouldn't book the more expensive pitch I would be just as happy a little further away.
The facilities were shut - the shop, pool and bar as there was no demand for it so I can't comment on them.
The showers, toilets and wash up facilities are great as they are brand spanking new. Lots of lovely hot water, very clean and well maintained.
The site was a little way up the road and the walk to the beach was a trudge along the roads and not something I would encourage with children. The local shops at St Merryn were a few metres up the road and very convenient.

Booked the more expensive Sea View pitch by the hedge. Waste of money, as the pitches in the rally field opposite had a better view.
The pitches are a little confusing as to how much area you have. Space between could be better.
Tried the pub for a drink, and was a nice atmosphere.
Toilets/showers are a good quality but a bit of a trek for some.
The best beach for body boards and entertaining the kids was Trevone. Car park on the beach along with toilets/shop/cafe.
I wouldn't advise anyone with a caravan to travel on the A389 between Little Petherick and the A39 it is VERY narrow in places. We nearly got stuck and locals are not sympathetic or helpful. In fact they were determined not to move!
