We booked the supposed motorhome site which cost us £52 for electric hook up and two nights parking on the drive at the edge of the rear carpark with not even a dustbin, let alone any other facilities useful to motorhomes.
We had shared use of the good bathroom in the nearby bunkhouse with the occupants of up to, I believe, five bedrooms. I was afraid to use it until late morning when all occupants had left, as the building itself did not lock and the bathroom lock was inadequate and tricky to engage. We felt uncomfortable and unwanted on the premises and stayed only one night.
Annoyingly it was only £20 per night in the bunkhouse with free parking!
It would be helpful if any advertisements of this Hotel as a motorhome site would be more specific about how basic the facilities are and did not charge so much for so little.

Needed 2 pitches as travelling with friends who had hired MH. Needed to be close to Inverness for their van return next day.
Let me say before I start that I did make mistakes when booking. I did not read available facilities before booking, nor did I notice no dogs were allowed. I started booking via this site and entered 3 dogs on drop down menu, so I just presumed that would be ok. I did find out via correspondence with ledgown that they don’t allow dogs. I was prepared to take a refund a go elsewhere but they were very gracious and allowed us to stay with our dogs, for the night stopover. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. I do agree with others this is a good place as an intermin stop. It is however not somewhere I would stay as part of a holiday.
There are no toilet emptying facilities, again I did not read what’s available properly. Not a huge issue if you plan for this and you do have use of the bunkhouse toilets and showers.
The 2 hookups are beside each other, you park in the car park right beside the hotel and looks into the restaurant. I don’t think it was open, due to covid, but hand it been full, customers would have been looking at a view of 2 motorhomes.
The bunkhouse was clean but in need of some TLC and what looked like black mould on toilet ceiling. I cannot comment on showers.
It is close to a main road, though quiet from traffic through the night.
Value for money? I did not think so. With only hookup and water. And water round the other side of the hotel. We had stayed at a few sites in the preceding week, one charged only £20 a night on a fully serviced beautiful pitch (facilities closed). Even those with open facilities were charging equal or less than £26 a night with water, EHU and toilet emptying close by. With this in mind I have to be honest and say it was not value for money. It lacked in both facilities and scenery and isn’t really a site, just a lay over.
A free night at a pub with britstop (and pub food) would be better value for money.
I don’t think I would go here again, but in different times, I would if the stopover was say just a few pounds or free. If you used the hotel restaurant maybe? It is just a car park at the end of the day.
I cannot however thank the staff highly enough, I don’t like giving such a negative review, but this is just how I found it. I appreciate I could have researched it better.

Ledgowan Lodge is set in the beautiful countryside of Achnasheen.
I had a lovely stay in my Campervan-
There are 2 EHU Units and the availability of a well equipped bunkhouse with kitchen facilities, toilet and showers.
The manager was very friendly and helpful and I was made to feel very welcome,
Great base for walking and cycling,
The scenery is spectacular

Having planned a week away, up in Scotland, I wanted somewhere to stay for one night as I traveled from west to east. Looking at the map, I came up with Achnasheen and discovered the Ledgowan Lodge Bunkhouse and Campsite. I rang the hotel and they informed me I could stay, with my campervan, in their side car park, for a fiver a night. There is a small field too, for tents. When I arrived at the 200 year old Victorian building, I was well impressed with its stately grandeur. Stepping inside was like going back in time but it's beautifully maintained. I was warmly greeted by the gent behind the reception desk who informed me, once I'd paid, to park up anywhere around the side of the building and that I could use the nearby bunkhouse facilities, if I so wished. Initially I wasn't keen to use the shower in there as I noted burly male walkers and workers arriving, at the end of the day. However, being a walker myself I befriended two of the residents and joined them for a drink, within the building. The shower room is, surprisingly modern for what looks to be a bit of a dated glorified shed, from the outside. We finished our night, in the hotel bar and I have to say, the staff were so friendly and welcoming to this lady, who'd parked up in her campervan. I used the shower, the following day, once the bunkhouse was evacuated and I had oodles of hot water, finishing my morning by having coffee and cake, in the hotel's sumptuous lounge - that being a fiver too - very good value! I would certainly recommend this place, especially to solo lady travelers, such as myself, I was made to feel so welcome and have been asked back next year. I will be taking that offer up! On a final note, there is no rush to leave either, I asked if I had to be away at midday and was informed that I could leave, whenever I liked.
