Great site in close proximity to Hope but still secluded.
Quiet and the 9pm sound curfew was a bonus.
Well serviced with clean facilities.
Felt safe and secure.

Great site. Fantastic location smack bang between castleton and Hope (about 20 mins walk - you need a torch at night!).
Showers and loos just fine. Nice to see electric sockets in the washroom area. Washing machine available.
We had an electric hookup, make sure you have a long cable.
Highly recommended and we'll be back

The site is well signposted and easy to access,
The facilities are quite comprehensive including a free to use freezer for blocks, there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer (which we didn't need to use).
The site and amenities were all clean, the showers were excellent with no charge to use.
As it is approx 1 mile to walk to either Hope or castleton it is ideal for a walking based break.
One possible downside is that it is located next to a large cement works which seems to operate 24/7.
There is some noise, but we didn't find it intrusive.
Actual, the sites very large chimney is visible from pretty much the whole valley, so it's easy to use as a waypoint to the site.

My son and I have just spent the weekend camping at Pindale and it was ideal for us.
The site is small but well maintained.
It is ideally situated for castleton and Hope, so you don't need to drive anywhere to start your hike.
Toilets and showers were clean and there was plenty of hot water.
Very welcoming on arrival despite us getting there later than expected and very friendly when we were leaving as well.

My first time camping and safe to say it won't be my last! I couldn't have picked a better site for location, facilities and especially the attentive host Alan - he really can't do enough to help :)
I covered Mam Tor, Lose Hill, Lady Bower, Win Hill and even Kinder Scout in my few days away and everything was perfect (apart from the odd heavy shower, but that's life!).
Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the Hope Valley area.

Small site, situated in a stunning area of the country.
Lots to see and do nearby, and many options for walks suitable for all abilities.
Site owner was very friendly, with expectations laid out clearly on arrival.
Toilet / shower facilities clean.
A very pleasant and peaceful stay. Will revisit.

I enquired using the form on here and got a quick response and he let me know they had a pitch and the price and to turn up as and when.
The site is easy to find, just a short distance from both Castleton and Hope and slap in the middle of them. Both have pubs, tea rooms, small shops, etc. And both are within easy walking distance. However Castleton is uphill for a chunk of it. This time I checked out the four pubs in Castleton and the Old Hall pub in Hope, all were great and were made to feel welcome. We had pizza at The George which is recommended.
The welcome was extremely friendly and the guy took the fees, £9 for me in the campervan without electric hookup, absolute bargain. Knowing where everything is on site, he left us to our own devices.
See my review below for more details on the site.
The facilities were to the same standard as last year.
Loads of walking from the site and this time we walked into Castleton, up Devils Dale, across to Mam Tor, then down into Hope. A fab 9 miles walk with some stunning views.
I would stay again.
