 Please note this site no longer takes tents, or touring caravans, or camping of any sort. They now offer self catering accommodation in flats / cottages only.

Very quiet and peaceful site. Two fields for campers and caravans, some pitches with hook-ups. We were in the lower field which included a fairly steep climb up to the facilities but nothing a fittish person would suffer with.
The only 'drawback' to the site was the toilet facilities. These were unisex and quite cramped - certainly not for the bashful but always clean. When the site was busiest it could sometimes be a lengthy wait for the only shower (20p).
Other facilities include use of a freezer, washing machine and dryer (£4.50), table tennis room and heated swimming pool (£2.50 adult, £1 child).
The campsite is within walking distance of Moretonhampstead where everyday needs can be found.
We enjoyed our stay in what is a lovely part of Dartmoor and would recommend this site to others who enjoy peace and quiet but don't expect top notch facilities.
