 We had emailed to book and were pre allocated a pitch by the river, grass was long and badly needed a cut.
Electric on each pitch and a water tap between two pitches. Some pitches less defined than others. We did feel pitches very close, certainly not 3 m apart.
Two facilities blocks, one very old but extremely clean with 4 toilets (mens or ladies).
Second block had had a substantial refit. Mixed facilities for both sexes. Excellent hot showers but they are push button.
Absolute beautiful village less than a minutes walk with cafes and restaurants. The bread shop had closed down last Janaury, no other shops.
The village is worth a stop but if you aren't walkers or cyclists there isnt too much to see or do.
£17 per night plus E3 per night for the dog (they don't take ACSI but prices similar to those that do).
Whilst we stayed there was a big meet in the town square of Lamberetta Scooters. The next 2 days there was a Gravel Cycle event - based at the campsite which was

This campsite is situated in a beautiful area if you love outdoor sports canoeing, climbing cycling, walking. It is bordered by a river, and is nestled under a mini `alpes`. We looked in one sunny day and it looked very pleasant. Not sure if they get flooding problems when the water is high it is quite low lying. There seemed to be evacuation warnings but as my french is minimal schoolgirl couldn`t swear to it. A peaceful tranquil site in a lovely little rural village.
In one of the fields there was a large marquee type tent which obviously had a group of french school children there. We noticed these large tents in quite a few campsites .the teachers take them away for a week or two.
Facilities looked fine. Small shop on site and canoes for hire.
There were families paddling in the river over the bridge when we went so it was very low.
