 We visited this site in late June. We chose it because it is right next to the Canal,perfect for walks,cycling and boat trips. There are also lots of places to visit in the vicinity.
Pitch prices are very good, pitches are large with water near most.
Toilet block basic and clean. Lovely peaceful area with the town centre only a few hundred yards away.The town itself is quiet and sleepy.
There is a play area for children with swings and a slide, couple of donkeys (mother and foal)in attached field.Plenty of fishing places including the Canal itself.
Site is family owned,managed by Pascal and his wife.The daughter speaks excellent English.
Pascal speaks some English,has a wicked sense of humour and is incredibly helpful.
There is a small snack bar area and Pascal cooks a limited but cheap menu. You can also get a reasonable bottle of wine for 3 euros.There is also a kind of clubhouse with TV.
We had a great time there, met some very nice people. Some come back year after year.
The campsite could do with some money being invested in it, but it is clean and tidy.
As a cheap and friendly campsite we strongly recommend it!
