A perfect site if you want peace and quiet. Lovely rural views from very spacious grass pitches, which are divided by hedges.
This is not a ‘car park’ site with rows of hard standings which is one of the reasons we love it.
Facilities are basic but very clean. Easy to get to coast and Faversham is worth a visit.
Lovely dog friendly pub within walking distance.

We have visited Monks Cottage several times now and it never fails to disappoint.
This site is kept spotless even in torrential rain, the grounds are beautiful and facilities as always are immaculate.
We very much look forward to another visit, hopefully next time the weather will be better.

Monks cottage one of the best sites we have found in this country.
Reminds us of the French campsites. Pitches very big. Lovely hedging surrounds Pitches, Only two loos/ showers, but very clean and as a small site was no problem!
Beautiful views and lots of owls at night. Set in an area of outstanding beauty, whats not to like!
Tres Tres Bonne.
Will visit again. Graham and Theresa most helpful. Also nice dog walk in woods behind them. Easy access to many nearby towns and seaside places.
You do have to take your rubbish away with you. Not a problem, there is however a dog poo bin.
Cost max 25 per night including awning electricals. Showers £1 a time.

Very spacious grass pitches with privacy hedges between, surrounded by beautiful Kent countryside.
Everything immaculate and well thought out. Owners were friendly and very willing to share information, but not obtrusive.
Enjoyed walk through woods to Red Lion (great food/staff and dogs welcome).
A bit of an inconvenience having to take rubbish home or to local tip and missed having a washing up area
But overall we loved this site and look forward to returning.

Second time we have stayed on this site, and again, excellent in every respect.
Great layout, no interference from the owners, just leave the money in an envelope (provided) and put in post box.
No on or off time, just arrive as you like, then at end of stay, pack up and leave when it suits you.
Graham and his wife certainly know how to create a great caravanning experience.
Toilets and showers spotless.
Very quiet site, just 4 miles from Faversham so a fantastic location as well.
I have rated the site facilities as 10/10 because for us and our friends they are, but if travelling with children you might need some entertainment for the younger ones.

Lovely site, well maintained and quiet, easy 30 minute walk to the nearest pub.
Washrooms we’re fine and kept very clean, the only thing missing was a washing up area.
Would definitely return

This campground sits in a lovely rural valley in a quiet corner of East Kent mid way between Faversham and Ashford. It has beautifully kept grass and laurel hedges.
It is pleasure to spend time here. Only a ten minute walk through the woods to a good pub. However, the main problem here is no rubbish facilities.
It is suggested campers take their rubbish to a county tip six miles away. Not very practical if you are touring. The owners never made an appearance during my stay.
Payment had to be deposited in a post box.
Still, this site is definitely worth a visit.

We loved this small site tucked away in the beautiful Kent Countryside,
The owners are very friendly and helpful,
The town of Faversham is a short drive away and well worth a visit, further afield you have Canterbury and Whitstable which we found to be great days out,
What a find.
This site is excellent, layout, facilities, owners, etc. All superb.
The pitches are very large, the fields exceptionally well laid out.
There is no set time to get off or on, and no push for payment, just leave money in an envelope and place it in letterbox.
The owners really have got this site just right and clearly understand the needs of their customers.
Only negative points Are
A) It's a trek up a hill to the showers and toilets. I would love to see a toilet shower block down on the same level as the site.
B) Only two toilets on site which are unisex with combined showers which you have to pay for via coin meter at £1 or £2 coins.
C) No lighting on the site so it's in complete darkness and the trek up the hill is only lit by solar lights.
And Finally D) you have to take your rubbish home as there is no bins provided on-site for guests.
Apart from that great weekend was had.

We loved this small site tucked away in the beautiful Kent Countryside,
It has excellent facilities including a small but very clean shower and toilet block,
The owners are very friendly and helpful,
There are some lovely walks directly from the site, one going past a pub which serves a lovely Sunday roast,
The town of Faversham is a short drive away and well worth a visit, further afield you have Canterbury and Whitstable which we found to be great days out,
We have already booked 3 more visits this year and cannot wait to go back.
