Our arrival was strange, there's no reception on site so you have to ring Linda and we had a 10 minute wait as she didn't answer straightaway,
There's quite a few seasonal pitches so the gates are locked and you have a key, some of the time there was also an overhead barrier, presumably not when she knows there are arrivals due and fortunately for us not when we had the bikes on top of our car.
The site is split into three areas, it was very quiet, and characterless when we were there, there's not really anywhere to walk to from the site,
Shower and toilet facilities are adequate, there are lots of bins and water points around the site,
Linda is very friendly and drove round regularly whilst we were there to check on everyone,
We thought it was expensive at 5 per night

Very good location just off the M55-
Spacious plots
Just the disabled and 1 washroom open for individual use because of covid.
Only criticism was 50 p required for the showers

Lovely quiet site, Linda was very friendly and around often.
We stayed Friday to Monday, our main purpose was to go to the Darts at Winter Gardens in Blackpool and was the perfect location. 20 minutes in a taxi for around £20
Also a great location for Lytham St. Anne's and would be great for the Blackpool lights,
Not very good if you've got children with you, there is nothing within walking distance.
Not sure the toilet/shower block would cope if the site was full.
57 pitches and 3 toilets/showers.
A great clean and very spacious site and would definitely return.
Perfect if you just want peace and quiet.

A very peaceful and well maintained site. Loads of space, very quiet, and the owner was so friendly and helpful.
Showers were really hot, and lasted so long for 50p. Drinking water available, and lots of bins for waste. Was so cute to see little rabbits running around from the fields too!
15 minute drive to Blackpool through the country lanes too.
We will definitely be returning, we cannot wait!

This is a very spacious site. Well kept, water and waste bins provided emptied regular. The owner Linda is around to help or advise where to go etc she clearly devotes her time to the site.
This is not a site for children it is for people that want to chill in peace and quiet.
The toilets were closed due to COVID and the use of a disabled shower room and toilet were open to use a charge of 50 p for the shower.
The eagle was to far to walk to, a country pub that serves meals, we called for a drink one sunny afternoon it was a nice pub.
The site is a good base to go to see other places, the favourite being Lytham Saint Anne’s.
We would not return here, nothing to do with the site more the location, for us we like to stroll into a village with shops and pubs.

Enquired about vacancies through this site and was promptly called back by Linda the caravan park owner. Linda offered us a place along with a quote. Linda asked us to call her on arrival and she would open the gates to let us in.
The site is divided into three areas all hard standing with individual drinking water pipes and power. We stayed on a pitch next to the entrance which had a small area set aside for rubbish and chemical/waste water which is clean and more than adequate.
There is a shower/toilet block which looked new as well as another area for rubbish and chemical/waste water but, didn’t need to use it. The site also has a dog walking field with a number of benches set along the route to enjoy the views.
Near by attractions are Preston, Lytham, Lytham St Anne’s with excellent beaches and cafes as well as Blackpool with all its attractions. A pub is located about 1. 5 miles away and a number of restaurants and take always in under 3 miles.
The site does not have WiFi which suited us and the phone signal varies from 3-4G depending on where you sit but again, not a problem.
Linda visits throughout the day and is available if you have any questions. We didn’t notice any play amenities for children however, families with young children were using the site and seemed to being enjoying themselves as well as being safe enough to cycle around.
On arrival, there are two sets of gates, a large gate which you will be given a key for and, a high gate with large yellow signage instructing you to STOP! Do not attempt to pass under it as your van will not fit! Would we return? Absolutely.
Great site, wonderful host.

A tidy site with all amenities and close to the coast.
Not the quietest of sites due to being situated next to a very busy dual carriageway.
For this reason alone we’ll not return as we like peace & quiet at night.
