A clean tidy site not far from the motorway. The pitches nearest the road are large and flat but beware of the ones close to the trout stream as they tend to get boggy in wet weather. The toilet block is clean although dated. The site offers pleasant views across the stream to woodland and there are wooded walks and walks by the stream into the village. There are 2 very good restaurants in the town and a selection of small shops. The main drawback to this site is the early morning road noise from farm vehicles. If you don't mind that or can sleep through it this is a lovely peaceful site that I may return to for a third short stay.
