 Spotlessly clean well maintained site
Lovely friendly helpful staff
Good size pitches
Reasonable price
Bus service not very good
Wifi and phone signal atrocious in the whole area of Shropshire and on site.
Visit sculpture park much more than it looks from the entrance brilliant

What a great place! We stayed over the first May bank holiday weekend along with friends in a second campervan. The site is about 2/3rds of the way between Shrewsbury and Oswestry but transport links are fairly easy.
Shrewsbury is such a pretty town with "ye olde" buildings, a castle, the river Severn flowing around it, a castle too, and plenty of nice pubs and eateries! Traffic was always busy but that could've been because of the bank holiday and extra things going on.
Back to the campsite, we were greeted by the wonderful owners who showed us to the pitch. The weather was great and it was nice to just sit out and relax by the 'van for a while.
The facilities are very clean and tidy with music piped through the toilet block. Water was always hot and plentiful from the push-button showers.
The site even has its own bar which had several families in there on the Sunday that we went in. Our friends took advantage of a pizza van on the Saturday night that comes onto site too.
I'd definitely recommend the site for its location and the lovely, friendly owners. Shrewsbury is definitely a great place to visit too.

We stayed for the bank holiday weekend and was great.
The only downside was the double booked us and they told us. That the other couple 1 of them was blind and could they put is on the grass near the front gate. And they would give us a full refund which we excepted.
When we set up we found out we had only BBC1 and the News channel and because we were near the toilet it was very noisy so we left Sunday afternoon instead of Monday.
But got to say the site is very clean and lovely location. We have tried to get in contact with them but to no avail for our refund we are trying to see when we can get the refund they said we would get.

We only stayed here for one night on our way back from Wales, and what a good choice it was.
The booking process was easy, checking in was speedy with a friendly welcome.
The whole site was pristine with lots of toilets and showers (a few more sinks in the ladies would have been useful though).
We cycled to the Old Three Pigeons in a nearby village and had a really good meal.

The site is excellent. The facilities are first rate and the hard standing pitches dead flat.
The new owners went out of their way to be helpful and put on a great buffet to celebrate NewYear.
Lots to do in the area, and a great pub in Ness.
We will be back!

Just spent 4 nights on this site, lovely clean facilities, grounds well looked after, owners very helpful.
The site is easy to find close to A5 but very little road noise, nice big double hard standing pitch and grass area to sit out on.
Will visit again.

An immaculate site beautifully maintained. Very pleasant staff. Good facilities.
There is a choice of buses to Oswestry and Shrewsbury. (former a bit jaded and sad - latter a lovely town).
The site is rural and, although near the main A5 we were not bothered by traffic noise.
£31 pn
We were saddened that such a lovely site was not more used.
There were only five pitches taken. Such a waste of such a lovely place.

Campsite facilities were always clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely weekend. A place to definitely revisit,

Very well kept site.
Friendly welcome, good sized hardstanding pitches.
Buses pass the gate to Shrewsbury and Oswestry.
Facilities block small but very clean.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful! It was my first time caravanning, and they explained and helped with anything I didn't know.
They also helped re-pitch my awning when heavy winds dropped it. As a disabled camper, I found the disabled facilities excellent.
I was given a choice of pitch, which was a nice extra. As a non-driver, I found it useful to be within walking distance of a bus service.
I've since been back for a 3 night stay in my tent, at very short notice, and the family owners welcomed me back at very short notice, as if I too were a family member! It felt like 'coming home'. I can't praise the site and owners enough!
