 Well, what a fantastic site! From our first contact to book through to our stay, the site just kept giving.
It was everything and more than described/expected. Great views from all pitches over to the Gower peninsula.
First class facilities – freshly laundered hand towels in the toilet block! Separate, spacious unisex showers.
Where else have you seen a dog exercise field with agility equipment and mowed by a robot!
Electricity is metered with a complementary per night allowance which pretty much did us for our stay, but is simple to add amounts to.
Hywel and Cathrin are to be complemented on what they have created and maintain.
The plentiful, informative emails before, during and after our stay were so useful.

Wonderful, peaceful site! We’d definitely come again!
Very easy to reach from the M4.
Hywel was really friendly and welcoming (we didn’t meet his sister, Cathrin). They keep the site immaculately clean and tidy. There was WiFi and we had good mobile signal (Vodaphone). Waste needs to be separated to comply with Welsh legislation, so take food waste bags. We were on pitch 7 which was enormous - fully serviced with plenty of room for the car, caravan and awning on the hardstanding, plus a picnic bench provided during spring/summer.
There are lovely views over surrounding countryside, particularly from the top of the site. The only downside of having such lovely views was that it was quite exposed and windy when we were there and we couldn’t erect our awning, but we’d far rather have the views! Some people managed to erect their heavy duty awnings but ours is only lightweight so we couldn’t take the chance.
There is an enclosed dog playground/agility area on site, a dog shower, and a suggested dog walk just down the lane.
Not a sign of any spiders in the showers/toilets - they were spotless. The owners provide small towelling hand towels in the toilets (single use and then placed in the laundry basket), which we thought was a lovely change from blown air dryers. 3 toilet cubicles and two basins in the ladies, and similar in the men’s, which was plenty while we were there - no queues! There are two unisex shower rooms with plenty of space to change and to leave belongings in the dry - again, we never had to queue. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are a couple of places to eat in Llangennech, about 20 mins walking distance or a 5 min drive: the Bridge, which was friendly and had a wide menu choice including carvery; Tafarn Morlais - we didn’t get a chance to try it but we understand it is dog friendly.
We were only there for 4 nights and the weather wasn’t very good. However, we still managed to get out to see the National Trust house at Dinefwr, and take a breezy walk to Worms Head and overlooking Rhossili Bay on the Gower (a pleasant 2 miles walk in total from the NT car park/shop/toilets - fairly flat paved path most of the way and then across flat grass, with sheep and ponies walking around).
There are plenty of shops within a short drive of the campsite: It is only about 8-10 mins drive to Llanelli where we found Parc Pemberton and Parc Tostre retail parks (right next to each other - turn right out of the site, right at the roundabout and follow the A4138 until you reach the traffic lights in Llanelli and you’ll see the retail parks). Includes petrol stations, Boots, Tesco Extra, Morrisons, Argos, Jolleys pet superstore, Dunelm, M & S, B & M, MacDonalds, Greggs, Papa John’s, and a Marstons pub that does food including a carvery.

Well-laid out site with generous pitches and luxurious facilities (under floor heating in the shower block much appreciated.
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely views over towards the Brecon Beacons and Loughor Estuary.
Great dog walks nearby through Troserch Woods.

Fantastic site for our first ever motorhome experience. Beautiful site, very well kept pitches (good size) and gardens.
Showers/toilets are immaculate and well supplied with lovely touches.
Beautiful views that can be enjoyed from all pitches due to considered planning and positioning 👏
Hywel and Cathrin are amazing hosts/site owners so helpful, friendly and approachable, nothing was too much trouble 😍🤩
The secure dog field was a big bonus for our 3 dogs 😃
Would highly recommend and hope to return soon

Just returned from a 14 night stay at this site.
Wonderful adult only site, excellent facilities which are cleaned numerous times every day/evening, site is kept in a lovely clean condition by the owners. Standard and fully serviced double hard standing pitches are a very good size.
Site is also dog friendly with a dog walk. This area is cut 4 times a day by "Trevor" the GPS controlled lawnmower. Absolutely fantastic piece of kit. Easy access just off junction 48 of M4 no narrow lanes to contend with.
Free wifi with internet and streaming services. Electric is now metered. We used £16 over the 2 weeks we were there. £2 per night was put on out card by the owners. Additional funds can be added if required. Any unused additional funds (full £'s the odd pence will be donated to the local Air Aumbulance) will be refunded
Great location for visiting many areas of South Wales, with some fabulous beaches within in easy reach of the site.
Cant say anymore that has not already been said about this excellent family owned site.
We will be visiting again, highly recommended.

We returned last Saturday evening from a lovely 2 night stay.
The owner was friendly, helpful & informative. The toilets & showers were immaculate!
The grounds were kept tidy & pitches laid out well.
This is a adult only site which is great for couples who's children are now adults! And dog friendly.
It is a quiet site to.
Will be recommending.

It’s absolutely perfect, with amazing facilities and location.
Brilliant views, great size pitches.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who went out of their way to make sure everything was spot on.

Once again we were not disappointed to return to this touring park, we've been coming here for several years on and off and it never fails to delight us here, in fact it's wrench when it comes to leave.
With great views, spotless facilities and utter tranquillity it remains our "go to" site whenever we come to this area of Wales.

Everything about this site is excellent, a very warm welcome on arrival, with plenty of information about the site’s facilities in the welcome pack.
Hywel and Cathrin are your hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

We've been trying to visit Llwynisaf for the last couple of years and could never get in.
Now we know why and also why all the reviews are 10 out of 10.
Cathryn was friendly on the phone booking us in, as was Hywel as he welcomed us on site.
And what a stunning site it is, everything immaculate with lovely views.
The toilets and shower room are out of this world and are absolutely pristine and on cool November days, were lovely and warm.
We cycled from the site on both days, the first halfway down the Gower to Llanrhidian and back, calleing at Penclawdd, where we popped into the 'Cariad Cafe', where I had the largest piece of flapjack I'd ever seen (and it was chocolate covered too!). It's obviously a popular spot with the locals and is well worth a visit if you're looking for scrumptious food.
On our second days we cycled the Black Pill trail and wandered along to Mumbles. On our return, we visited Prezzo restaurant and were well catered for, including my wife who is lactose and gluten intolerant. She said that the sea bass with grilled vegetables was the tastiest meal she's had in ages.
As the sun shone on the morning of our departure, we were sad that we had to get home, but will look forward to visiting again when possible.

This site has had many accolades and every single one is more than deserved. The expectations we had were exceeded. I have never received such amazing customer service both before we arrived, during & leaving.
You are made to feel more than welcome and the Welcome Pack is second to none. Every bit of information you need, especially as first time visitors.
The facilities are outstanding and it's the first time I have been anywhere with no cobwebs in the loos! There is a shop in the village and I am told The Bridge serves great food.
The chippy recommended in the Welcome Pack is excellent. We went to The Gower, a 30 min drive to Worm's Head.
We also went to Weobly castle where the bonus was being able to purchase Salt Marsh raised lamb.
Llanelli has the usual supermarkets and a small retail park.
Thank you Hwyel & Catrian absolute heaven, even in the rain.
We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic site, cannot fault it in any way.
The facilities were spotlessly clean, the pitches were immaculately kept and the views were breathtaking.
Hywel was a fantastic host and was really helpful if we had any queries (always smiling too!)
We would have scored 11 out of 10 if we could and will definitely be returning to this site.

We stayed on a fully serviced pitch with wonderful views, but all of the pitches seem to have the same thing and the site is so well kept by Hywel and Cathrin.
We watched Hywel cut the grass and rake over each pitch as it was vacated, after he had visted each one to speak to people and wish them a safe journey home.
From start to finish, we were made to feel extremely welcome, including information on the local area and complimentary tea and coffee and as mentioned by others the facilities were spotless and smelt beautiful.
Other nice touches were the hand towels and video of how to approach the site.
Thank you for a superb stay, we will be back!

What a gem of a site.
Hywel and Cathrin keep it immaculate. Huge hardstanding and grass pitches overlooking the valleys.
The toilet and shower blocks are spotless with the lovely touches of luxury hand wash and hand towels.
There is a secure dog field for your 4 legged friends and if they get dirty there is a dog shower with warm water.
Dog friendly beautiful beaches are very close by too.
There is even a boot wash!
Hywel and Cathrin have thought of everything.
Will definitely return soon.
