Lovely secluded beach within walking distance.
Restaurant and pub- great atmosphere and food.

This site has been on my radar for years, recommended in many places and described as a campover in a pub car park/ garden at the time. What a disappointment from what we expected!
Not a pleasant experience as a camper in a tent. Pitches slope in every single direction- on one night 8 tents were packed into tiny central section of grass, next to the olayoark ( edges not allowed in case anyone wanted electric hookup) being watched by those sat outside the cafe/pub and their motor homes. Felt like some exhibit in a zoo.
Extremely noisy til late at night, TVs in camper vans and children out playing until almost midnight then it all started again by 6am.
Not much sleep to be had.
Facilities were nice and clean and I'm sure it's great if you're self contained, but don't bother if you're in a tent.

A very clean and well laid out site.
Very good facilities for eating and drinking and helpful staff.
Excellent location for the NC500 touring route, catering for motor homes and campers

We needed a site to stop at before heading for Orkney and this was perfect.
There is a lovely walk to the beach - about 20 mins. The facilities look brand new, super clean and there are plenty.
Showers were great. We didn’t use the washing facilities at this site but the washing machine and dryers looked very good.
Nice to have a bar/restaurant on site. They gave out poo bags and treats for dog owners.
Sadly some dog owners have obviously never been trained themselves. So it was sad that they had to provide these with a message about walking your dog off the site, picking up poo and not walking on land near by with sheep and lambs.
It was easy to walk to the left and down to the lay-by on the grass verge and there is a bin there too. Most dog owners we came across (a 2 month trip) were very good but we also met some that weren’t - either deliberately or just not paying attention to what their dogs are doing.
If I had to find one downside it would be that the pitches aren’t that big compared to others we stayed at but certainly wasn’t an issue. It is by the road too but we couldn’t here it.

Definitely the best site we have visited.
Very friendly warm welcome especially from the lovely lady on reception and also the lady in the restaurant and the food was fantastic.
Superb toilet and shower facilities which were spotlessly clean.
We would definitely recommend that you should visit the North Coast Touring Park and we will definitely be going back.

This was an excellent site, friendly staff and clean facilities,

Arrived at this excellent site to a warm greeting from Maddi, we had a good level pitch with electric and water nearby.
Site facilities are first class with the amenities block being what seemed to be brand new.
On site is the halladale inn serving excellent food and a wide variety of drinks to suit any taste.
An amazing beach is 10-15 mins stroll away.
My only gripe is that we were only staying for 1 night as we would have liked to sample more food at the Inn.
Don't hesitate to book this site if you are looking to stay in the area.

Beautiful views
Excellent facilities
On-site shop is great, and their on-site restaurant is even better
Highland cows nearby!
This has been the perfect campsite for us and we only regret not staying longer.

This camping site is very nice and clean.
There is an excellent customer service.
I had booked a pod and we very much enjoyed our stay.
I would definitely recommend it.
