This is an amazing place! It is back to nature whilst being spoiled by the friendly and well thought out touches throughout the site.
Within a working farm, there are just 8 teepee-style tents that are erected and organised for your arrival. Within each tent there are airbeds, table, utensils hamper and an additional 'breakfast' hamper with all local fresh produce for you.
There is a games tent containing equipment for cricket, bowls, badminton etc and a wash tent with beautiful victorian jugs and bowls and a log burner to heat the water. There is a toilet/eco shower block and a 'mess' tent with washing up and everything else you could possible need including tea, coffee, sugar, sauces etc and freshly laid eggs!
With just a few tents, it is easy to relax and either join in with the others around the fire or enjoy your own BBQ fire. There is no electricity so all lighting is either tea lights or wind up lanterns but it is easy to load and unload your stuff and then feel like you are in the middle of nowhere!
Just a 15 min drive to the beach and less to Arundel Castle - we are definitely going back. All credit to Sue and Alex who made everyone feel welcome and who genuinely care about their customers.
BillyCan is more expensive than regular campsites. But it is NOT a regular campsite!
