 A pleasant site.
The showers and toilets are nice and kept clean.
The staffing is minimal so bear that in mind.
The overall site is well kept and good value for money.
Not the flashiest site but nice and quiet

One of the best sites we have ever stayed at.
Facilities were spotless at all times. Bountiful hot water and showers just like home.
Excellent dog walking areas. Bins emptied daily.
Customer service extremely helpful and friendly.

We were disappointed with this site. Looking back at the criticisms in previous reviews I found them to be valid.
I didn't find the facilities in the Gents toilet to be clean or well maintained, obviously some of this is down to how they are used but the toilets, seats and toilet brushes were in an awful state. Basins and showers were dirty with one shower overflowing into the corridor; push buttons in different showers gave between 3 and 16seconds per push. However, my wife said that this was not the case in the Ladies facilities.
With a major revamp the site could be nice, it is convenient for buses to Exeter and Sidmouth but crossing the very busy main road is difficult for those who are not physically on top form. There would be similar problems if trying to walk on the rough verge down to the Cat and Fiddle.
If anyone is used to the sites run by the Camping clubs, or similar quality sites, this site probably would not suit them in its present form.

On arrival I was welcomed and given help to fill up with water and to empty the waste.
The people here are friendly and as a single lady I feel safe.
Facilities are excellent.
Path leading to the campsite is quite rough.
10 min walk through business park to no 9 bus.

Stayed 1 night for £35 including electric hookup,
Site needs a little love, but the shower block etc is more than adequate,
Friendly staff, a few residential caravans,
Could be a brilliant little site if it was tidied up a bit,

I stayed here for 2 nights and when I arrived there was no one to greet me, I had to phone the number on receptions door to then be greeted by a scruffy looking manager/security… not a great first impression.
When driving round the site to pitch up there was a huge eyesore of a lorry with pallets for steps, they had 2 young children who ran around the facilities making so much noise no parents in sight and riding bikes into the road. Their dog non stopped barked, whined and ran around off lead with no owner in sight either!
The campsite itself was scruffy with overgrown grass and weeds around the majority of what seems to be long term caravans.
The facilities block appeared well kept and clean most of the time which was nice to see as I had my doubts looking at the rest of the campsite.

There are quite a few caravans that stay on site permanently which could put people off but we had a lovely time,
Facilities were all modern and clean locals were a friendly bunch!
Bus stop is a 10 minute walk all on paths which was a bonus, also the bus stops at the campsite lane if you ask the driver.
Two pubs pretty close but we didn’t try them as we spent most of our time in Exeter.

Friendly staff & good facilities block.
Stayed here as it's next door to the Westpoint arena.
Covered in snow during our visit,
Slight road noise but handy location.

Great location, really nice people and superb welfare block. Site is a bit tired and in need of some TLC.
Unfortunately our neighbour was a young guy driving an Audi around the site like a maniac (which caused heated arguments with residents) and he played loud music all day long.
We left a day early because of the terrible weather and not wanting to spend another day next to the Audi guy.
Could be excellent with a bit of attention.

Excellent location for visiting Exeter or East Devon, close to the M5 junction 30 but not too noisy.
Good facilities - plenty of hot water, good push-button showers and professional quality hair dryers (no extra charge), also good wash-up area.
Would recommend/visit again.
