Lovely pub campsite with a really lovely landlady.
The pub food was very tasty and good value for money.
Easy to get to devices and quiet enough to have a good night's sleep.

We wanted to camp for 1 night as 2 families but didn't want to go too far from home or spend too much money. For only £10 per tent we stayed in the small field behind the pub. It would hold about 6 tents.
We could check in whenever we wanted and leave whenever we wanted. The owners were very flexible, relaxed and helpful. There was a small park for the children on site with a slide and swing as well as a free 10 hole crazy golf course which was a well designed one.
We were within 10 minutes walk of the canal which was a nice walk and the kids enjoyed seeing the boats and feeding the ducks. We ate in the Pub which was really nice for adults and kids meals.
There was one shower with one toilet all in one which was clean and all that was needed for a short stay.
Overall we would highly recommend this campsite and will certainly return in the future

The site is situated behind the Public House and can best be described as a paddock. Hook ups require a three pin adaptor.
At best 5 caravans could be accommodated but only if awnings are not used and vehicles are parked in the pub car park. At the time of our stay 2 vans were occupied by people who stay during the week to work in the area and return home at the weekend.
The shower and toilet was in dire need of cleaning. For 4 days there was no toilet paper. A complaint led to paper being produced but no cleaning.
Food is available from the 'Pub' but left a lot to be desired. One meal was lukewarm, not cheap (£7. 75 a small lasagne) and the other totally inedible. A complaint led to the landlord being awkward for the rest of our stay. I suppose you get what you pay for.
Super local walks.
