 Superb campsite. Friendly hosts on arrival.
Toilets/showers and kitchen room immaculate. Great hot shower. Was staying in a small tent so the kitchen room with fridge, kettle, microwave, wash-up sink and a place to sit and eat was a godsend.
Site itself is so peaceful and had great views of the sunrise and sunset over the surrounding land.
Will definitely return next year.

Don't be deceived by the meandering approach.
The reception was wonderful and the views to the loch were extraordinary.
Facilities were exceptional and improving.
The showers were spotless and very, (very) hot and invigorating.
Well done highly recommended, would visit again.

Excellent modern facilities at this lovely site a couple of miles from Lairg.
Plenty of space available, and the site has lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

Lovely owners, informative on arrival welcoming and a well maintained site.
Toilets clean, although shower changing area a little tight.
Nice kitchen / washing area.
Definitely stay again, peaceful and ideal to unwind and take in the scenery and nature walks.

Nice views, clean toilets and showers,
Lovely laundry room / kitchen washing up area, which we would have welcomed years ago when we had a tent and it was a wet day !
Great idea to have a washing line.

Great welcome, facilities clean and well presented.
Fabulous views over Loch Shin and two red kites soaring over the site made this stop over well worth while!
Great conversations in the communal kitchen made this a very happy stay. Thank you.

Woodend Caravan & Camping Site is a lovely campsite in the centre of the Scottish Highlands, with a beautiful view (360*) over Loch Shin and the surrounding hills.
