The site is about 15 minutes pleasant walk away from the imposing, but faded, spa town of Luchon. Pitches for tourers are large and pretty level, with a grey water disposal drain on each, plus magnificent views of snow-capped mountains! (The pitches are vacant mobile home plots - there are many 'bungalow' mobile homes, all very smart and orderly). There is also a separate camping area which seemed to be mostly used by youth groups and tent campers. The site has a small play area with bouncey castle (could have done with a wash!) but no pool. Bread is available on site most days, and there is a bar and restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful, but you will need to exercise your ability with French language. There is a fairly new toilet/shower block with, in theory, excellent facilities, spoiled a bit by a drainage problem because the floor doesn't slope in the right way. The owners must be aware of this and maybe this will be resolved soon. Most people will go to Luchon for the excellent opportunities for hiking in the Pyrenees - access to the most popular starting points is quick and easy. You can also take your bike up the cable car from the centre of Luchon for a relatively easy downhill ride back to town. Routes are graded from easy to extreme!
Overall a very good site in a beautiful area.
