 Great campsite. Only a small site but that's what's so good about it as it's a lot quieter. Pitches are very good sizes, you can pitch the tent sideways but which gives you plenty of room in front and behind still.
Very friendly staff who come round to make sure everything is okay and will let you know what's going on in the local areas. Such a beautiful area of Yorkshire.
Basic but well looked after facilities on site (Washing up area / toilets / showers / electric hookup) Everything is always kept clean and tidy.
You don't need anything else on site as everything else you need is round the corner with less than a 2 minute walk into the village which has shops, pubs, takeaways and a park for kids round the corner too.
This was the second time and will definitely return again soon. Highly recommended site.

A quiet site, it has everything you need for a visit to Thornton Dale with its centre only a short walk away.
Wi-Fi not the best though, most of the time it’s non existent but won’t put us off going again🤟

Stayed at Prospect Farm for 8 day's at the beginning of June. Very small site but big pitches.
The owners were great and very helpful. Toilet's and washing up facilities were very clean and were regularly serviced.
The site itself was in the centre of Thornton le Dale which was great as we were able to pop into Mathasons which was just around the corner, very central to attractions such as York, Eden Camp, Scarborough and Pickering railway.

Absolutely beautiful site! Excellent location and facilities, electric hookups and showers were great.
The staff were extremely welcoming and took the time to talk to everyone staying.
The site made our anniversary special.
We’ll be returning soon!

An Absolutely fantastic site slightly let down by the fact that there is only 1 shower each in the gents and ladies and the fact that you are exposed to the elements whilst washing up.
The actual facilities are old but are kept clean but I feel that with a little expense, they could easily be replaced with something better.
The site could not be better placed for exploring the lovely little town of Thornton-le-Dale with its many pubs and tea rooms etc and the nearby Dalby Forest.

Just had a lovely stay at prospect farm,
Owners lovely and can't do enough for you.
Great location just behind mathewsons ( bangers and cash )

As promised we returned for a second year running.
New owners but same campsite didn't really see any changes except phone number.
Very clean site.
Quiet and very pleasant everything was spot on.

Lovely campsite, not too big. Friendly owners.
The campsite is at the back of the Bangers and Cash Motor Museum.
A 2 minute walk to Thornton le Dale village centre with a few shops and 2 pubs.
Would definitely recommend the campsite for being central to the North York Moors and surrounding areas.

Such a lovely peaceful site. Helen and Neil are very friendly and keep everything perfect.
You need to be off the site by 12 which is great compared to some places being like 10am. We were 20 minutes over as we had a 1 year old to try and keep occupied at the same time. But they didn't seem to mind which is good.
Campsite set in such a lovely village too which I used to visit a lot as a child and stay at another site up the road at Elerburn. But unfortunately they don't have electric hook up so thought we would give this one a go.
We would definitely go back.
