 Just had a long weekend here to go walking with a friend. Emailed to book - very quick reply and no problem.
Very reasonable price. Helpful, accommodating, friendly owners (who love dogs!). Toilet facilities spotlessly clean (take your own loo roll), but just one shower/toilet for men & one for women which could be an issue on a busy stay. Be prepared to take your rubbish home.
EHU available, but I didn't need one (Solar is great!)
Although close to the A494 road noise wasn't intrusive and quiet at a sensible time in the evening. The touring area is separated from the main road by around 10 statics and another driveway. Also close to Offa's Dyke footpath.
For the price an excellent site. What a find!

I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this site. I stayed here for two weeks in July and found the site clean with well maker pitches. The toilets where clean and well maintained. I had a problem with the shower ( no hot water) mentioned this to the owners and they sorted the problem out straight away. I found the owners very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be coming back there.

Read the previous review & phoned Edith for directions-spot on.
Arrived late on Friday night (Bank HOl Weekend) and we were the only ones on site.
Phoned on arrival and owners arrived immediately and advised us where to pitch.
Electric & water immediately outside of pitch and toilet block about 20 yds away.
New & spotless- 1 shower & 1 toilet per sex in the same cubicle so fine as there was just us there- another family came on the Sat pm but no queues to use the loos.
May not be the case though as this site becomes nore well known
Well Kept/friendly quiet site.
Good access from Mold/Ruthin. Would stay again.
Priced well £29 for 2nights family of 4 with EHU and awning. Big field for kids to play on but no playground which suited us.
