We have recently returned from this well cared for site, we only intended staying for four nights and ended up there for three weeks - it's so good we didn't want to leave! It is very peaceful, we could hear the cicadas during the day and frogs in the evening. There are many attractive and sweet smelling flowering shrubs all around the site.
The owners are really helpful and are to be seen all the time working around the site. The hedges have now grown since the last review as many pitches were private, although there are some new pitches where there is not much shade or privacy. There is also a brand new shower block, giving two blocks on site now, both spotlessly clean at all times, offering showers, toilets, private basins and washing up facilities. There is also a laundry area, with sinks and washing machines available. The small swimming pool was maintained to a high standard.
Internet is available at a cost, but you do have to be close to reception to access it, but there are tables and chairs put out for this purpose. Bread and croissants were available from the site each morning but other shopping needed to be brought in.
There are two small towns within easy cycling distance - Graveson and Maillane.
It is in an ideal location for visiting Avignon, Nîmes, Pont du Gard, the Camargue.
A very nice site in the small but uninteresting town of Graveson, situated 7 miles south of Avignon. There is a small intermarch in the town and also a small market twice a week sometimes.
The site is run by a smashing couple who can't do enough to assist you during your stay.
It is not a large site but the facilities were excellent. The pool was crystal clear and the toilets and showers cleaned every day. Most of the pitches have shade, but there are no dividing hedges between them.
There is a large supermarket in ST Remy which is only a few miles south on the D5 also it's a lovely place for a lunch.
There is no shop or restaurant on site, but that wasn't a problem for us.
An ideal place for visiting Provence and we will be returning here on our next visit
