A small site with hard-standings for just 5 caravans/motorhomes and space for 10 or so tents; located just outside Keith but is let down by it's proximity to the main road (A96). We visited over a weekend and the traffic was almost constant on the Friday afternoon but died off around midnight. We were OK but a light sleeper might have a restless night!
The site hasn't been open all that long and so there's no toilet or shower facilities, however these are planned for a later date. There is a washing-up area (cold water only at the moment) and the covered area also includes a picnic table for use by campers. There is a drinking water tap and a CDP located close by. The site only charges £7 per night and I think it's good value. EHU is available for an extra £3 but only at 2 of the hard-standings.
The owner was very friendly and outlined the improvements that he'd like to make and was very enthusiastic. He also explained a bit about the local area and told us of a good place to walk the dog.
We were lucky enough to spot deer roaming along the burn and lochan that borders the site on both mornings that we were there and buzzards were also a common sight.
The site sells fresh free range eggs but there is no shop. However this is not a problem as it is only a 5 minute drive into Keith where you can find anything, including a Tesco supermarket.
All in all, good value but you need your own toilet facilities and the traffic noise may put some off
